Description
The Leckey Mygo Seating System is Leckey's pediatric seating system for school-age children who need a therapy chair that can also sit on a ZIPPIE IRIS mobility base. Westin Healthcare quotes it after a clinical assessment, then delivers and sets it up for families in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
Sunrise Medical Canada prints Mygo for children about 3-14 years in the headline, and lists three sizes on the spec table. Size 1 and Size 2 match the long-running height bands of 41-59 in and 50-66 in. Size 3 is on the Canada card as a larger seat. The child's occupational therapist or physiotherapist measures the child. We do not give clinical advice, and we confirm Size 3 against the current Canada order form on the quote.
Who this seating system is for
This seat is for a child whose therapy team wants strong pelvic support and a chair that can grow through the school years. Families usually call us when a therapist has named Mygo, or when the same seat must work at the table and on a ZIPPIE IRIS.
- Children leaving the Squiggles height band (from about 41 in / 105 cm)
- Homes that want a Hi-Low base so one chair meets the floor, the table, and a transfer
- Families whose therapist asked for Leckey seating on a ZIPPIE IRIS tilt base
If the child is still under about 43 in and 48 lb, start with the Leckey Squiggles Seating System.
How Mygo seats
A four-point pelvic harness is the foundation. Trunk, head, leg, and foot supports adjust around that pelvis. The chest harness can run with the shoulder straps removed so the arms stay free for eating, writing, or play. An optional activity table and a Hi-Low chassis cover classroom and home heights.
On a ZIPPIE IRIS, Sunrise offers an interface in two sizes with adjustable width so the same Mygo seat can follow the child onto a mobility base. That is the configuration that treats Mygo as wheelchair seating. The indoor Hi-Low chassis is still a therapy chair. The quote names one path.
Sizes and growth
Size 1: about 3-10 years, seat width 8-13 in, seat depth 10.6-16.5 in, user height 41-59 in (104-150 cm), 40-110 lb (18-50 kg), seat unit 22 lb.
Size 2: about 8-14 years, seat width 8.7-13.6 in, seat depth 13.8-18.5 in, user height 50-66 in (127-168 cm), 40-132 lb (18-60 kg), seat unit 32 lb.
Size 3 is listed on the Canada card (age 12-18, seat width 13.8-20 in, seat depth 16.4-22.4 in, 187 lb). Leckey's own Size 3 table uses a different weight and age band. We will not guess. The therapist's measurements and the current Canada order form set Size 3.
Back angle is 10 degrees prone and 25 degrees recline on the seat. Seat-to-sandal, back height, armrest height, and knee width all adjust inside the size.

Accessories and bases we quote
The quote names the size, the Hi-Low chassis or the ZIPPIE interface, laterals, head support, activity table, sandals, and harnesses. Measuring guides exist for the pelvic harness, trunk harness, and sandals. There is no on-page picker. The therapist writes the list.
Mygo seat, Squiggles, or a wheelchair back
Stay with Mygo when the child needs a growing school-age seat, with or without a ZIPPIE IRIS. Stay with Squiggles for the 1-5 year band. Use a dedicated wheelchair back and cushion when the therapist is building seating onto a chair the family already has.
- Leckey Squiggles Seating System, ages 1-5, Hi-Low or Easy chassis
- ZIPPIE IRIS, the tilt base Sunrise pairs with Mygo
- Spex Wonderseat, when the therapist named Spex pediatric wheelchair seating instead
Funding help for a wheelchair cushion or back support in Ontario
This cushion or back support is an ADP positioning device category item. Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of positioning devices such as cushions and back supports when they are prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist with an eligible mobility device, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every product qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this seating system across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, assemble the quoted size and base, and show you the harness, tilt, and height adjustment before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a therapy seat first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Purchased seats are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
Configured pediatric seating is not the Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods. If the seat is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Frequently asked questions
Does ADP cover the Leckey Mygo Seating System in Ontario?
Ontario funds positioning devices when they are required for use with a wheelchair. Mygo on a ZIPPIE IRIS is wheelchair seating. Mygo on a Hi-Low indoor chassis is a free-standing therapy chair. An ADP-registered therapist decides the route. Call (905) 451-7743 before anyone orders.
What sizes does the Leckey Mygo Seating System come in?
Sunrise Medical Canada lists three sizes. Size 1 fits about 41-59 inches and 40-110 lb. Size 2 fits about 50-66 inches and 40-132 lb. Size 3 is on the Canada card as a larger seat. We confirm Size 3 on the quote.
How is Mygo different from Squiggles?
Squiggles is the 1-5 year seat to 48.4 lb and about 43 inches. Mygo starts around 41 inches and grows through school. Mygo is also the Leckey seat Sunrise mounts on a ZIPPIE IRIS. They are separate products, not two names for one chair.
Can Mygo go on a ZIPPIE IRIS?
Yes. Sunrise Canada prints a two-size, width-adjustable interface so the Mygo seat can sit on a ZIPPIE IRIS tilt base. We quote the interface only when the therapist asks for that base.
Does the Mygo seat grow with the child?
Each size has a printed width, depth, back-height, and height band. The seat adjusts inside that band. When the child leaves the band, the next size is a different seat unit. The therapist tells us when to requote.
What is the weight capacity of the Leckey Mygo Seating System?
Size 1 is 40-110 lb (18-50 kg). Size 2 is 40-132 lb (18-60 kg). Size 3 is printed at 187 lb on the Canada card. We confirm Size 3 against the order form because Leckey's own Size 3 table uses 154 lb.
Is Mygo seating the same as the Mygo Stander?
No. The Mygo Seating System is a sitting chair. The Mygo Stander is a prone, upright, and supine standing frame. They share a name family and nothing else on the quote.
What is included with the Leckey Mygo Seating System?
You get the quoted size, the quoted base (Hi-Low or ZIPPIE interface), and the accessories on the quote. There is no single stock package. Westin Healthcare delivers and sets up across Brampton and the GTA.
Can I use Mygo only as a home therapy chair?
Yes. Many quotes are Hi-Low chassis only, for meals, homework, and classroom height. The ZIPPIE path is optional. The therapist names the base.
What is the warranty on the Leckey Mygo Seating System?
Leckey prints three years on manufactured products and components. Sunrise Canada notes provincial and funding variation. Westin Healthcare processes the claim through our service and repairs page.
