Cookie policy
A short page, because we use few cookies. Here is each one, what it does, and how to turn it off.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small file placed on your computer, tablet or phone by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, which works much the same way from your point of view.
Cookies cannot read other files on your device, and they cannot carry a virus. What they can do is remember something between page loads or visits.
Cookies we cannot do without
These make the website function. Blocking them breaks things like the shopping cart, so browsers generally do not let you refuse them selectively.
| Purpose | What it does |
|---|---|
| Session | Keeps you recognised as you move between pages |
| Shopping cart | Remembers what you have added so it is still there later |
| Sign-in | Keeps you signed in to an account between pages |
| Security | Protects forms against automated abuse |
Preferences stored on your device
This site has an accessibility panel offering larger text, high contrast, underlined links and read-aloud. Your choices are stored locally on your own device so the site looks the same when you come back.
That information is not sent to us, is not linked to you, and is not used for anything else. Clearing your browser data resets it.
Analytics cookies
We use analytics to understand which pages people find useful, in aggregate. It tells us that a page was read, not who read it.
We use this to decide what to improve. If a page about funding is being read a great deal and the enquiry form on it is never used, that tells us the page is not answering the question.
You can block analytics cookies in your browser and the site will work exactly as before. Nothing on this site requires them.
Third party content
Some pages include content from other companies, such as embedded maps, videos or manufacturer material. Those providers may set their own cookies when their content loads.
We do not control those cookies. If that concerns you, most browsers allow third party cookies to be blocked separately, and the pages will still be readable.
How to control cookies
Every major browser lets you see what is stored, delete it, and decide what to accept in future. The setting is usually under Privacy or Privacy and Security.
- Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies.
- Safari: Settings, then Privacy, where you can block cross-site tracking.
- Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions.
- Firefox: Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site Data.
Blocking all cookies will stop the cart and sign-in working, on this and most other websites. Blocking analytics and third party cookies only will not affect anything here.
If you would rather not manage this yourself, call us on 905 451-7743 and place your order over the phone. That is a completely normal way to buy from us.

This page is written in plain language so it can be understood without a lawyer. It is a summary of how we operate and it does not constitute legal advice. Where a signed quote, invoice or manufacturer warranty says something different, that document governs.
