Battery replacement for mobility equipment
Professional battery replacement for mobility scooters, power wheelchairs and stairlifts. Same-day service available. All major brands. Fitted in pairs, old ones taken away.
What we service
Batteries for the equipment you rely on
The previous page named three machines. Those are still the ones this service is for. Patient lifts and lift chairs also use smaller backup batteries. Tell us the make and model if you are unsure.
How it works
Bring the old one, or the model number.
Battery sizing is not just voltage and capacity. Terminal type, terminal orientation, physical dimensions and tray fit all matter. Guessing from a photograph is how people order the wrong size. We match the cell, fit both, and recycle the old pair.
Tell us the machine
Bring the old battery into Brampton, or ring with the equipment make and model. If the equipment cannot travel, we bring batteries to you and fit them at your home.
We match the pair
Voltage, capacity, size and terminal type. Always both batteries. A new cell paired with an aged one is pulled down to the old one's state of health within weeks.
Fitted, then recycled
Fitted in the showroom while you wait, or at your home. Most showroom jobs are done inside half an hour. Old batteries are taken away and recycled properly.

AGM, gel and lithium.
Most scooters and powerchairs take AGM. Gel tolerates deep discharge better and needs a compatible charger. Lithium is the light option on folding travel equipment. We will not guess from a photo.
Questions about battery replacement
Does ADP pay for replacement batteries?
No. ADP funds approved wheelchairs, scooters and seating. It does not fund repairs and it does not fund batteries. WSIB and Veterans Affairs often do cover ongoing maintenance including batteries.
Can I replace just one battery?
You can, and you should not. Mobility equipment runs two batteries in series, matched at manufacture. A new battery paired with an aged one is pulled down to the old one's state of health within weeks. Always replace in pairs.
Do you offer same-day replacement?
Yes. Same-day service is available in Brampton and the GTA, for the major brands we stock. Call 905 451-7743 and tell us the make and model so we can confirm we have the pair on the shelf.
Can I fit them myself?
On many scooters, yes, and we will tell you if yours is straightforward. Terminal orientation and correct connection matter, and some powerchairs and lifts need the batteries seated in a particular way. If in doubt bring it in and we will do it while you wait.
Do you only replace batteries on equipment you sold?
No. All major brands. Tell us the make and model. We service equipment from other suppliers as well as what we sold you.
Book a battery replacement
Call the order desk, write from the contact page, or book a technician visit if the equipment cannot travel. Charge after every use in the meantime. See maintenance tips if the machine still runs and you want to keep it that way.
