Orthex posture cushions, pillows, and the Sophia 3 bed
Quebec-made gel memory-foam wedges and pillows, plus the Sophia 3 hi-low homecare bed. We match the angle and the height in Brampton, then deliver across the GTA.
Sleep wedges file on Foam Cushions. Sophia 3 files with Homecare Beds. The Sensia Waterproof mattress is the wipeable deck for that bed.
Symbia bed wedges
Pick the angle from the manufacturer card, not from a guess. 14 degrees is a shoulder lift. 16, 23, and 30 degrees raise the back for reflux and snoring.

Symbia 14 degree
Shoulder wedge, 22 x 20 x 5.5 in.

Symbia 16 degree
Low back wedge, 24 x 29 x 8.5 in.

Symbia 23 degree
Medium back wedge, 24 x 28 x 12 in.

Symbia 30 degree
Steep back wedge, 24 x 26 x 15 in.
Symbia leg, knee, body, and seat
The 08 degree and 10 in supports raise the legs on your back. The 03 in cushion sits between the knees. The 50 in pillow runs the length of a side sleeper. The 2.5 in seat is a foam posture pad, not a dual-chamber wheelchair cushion.

Symbia 08 degree
Leg wedge, 20 x 18 x 5.5 in.

Symbia 10 in
Leg bolster, 20 x 22 x 9 in.

Symbia 50 in

Symbia 03 in
Knee cushion, 22 x 8 x 4 in.

What Ontario will and will not fund
Bed wedges, sleep pillows, homecare beds, and foam mattresses are not Assistive Devices Program items. That program is for eligible wheelchairs, approved scooters, seating prescribed with a mobility device, and some wheeled walkers. ODSP, WSIB, Veterans Affairs Canada, and private insurance may still contribute.
