Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital is the hospital that sits in Richmond Hill, at 10 Trench Street, at Trench and Major Mackenzie Drive. It is the older of the two Mackenzie Health hospitals. Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital opened in 2021 and is in Vaughan, not here.

10 Trench Street, Richmond Hill, ON L4C 4Z3. High-intensity rehab aimed at going home. Mackenzie Health Long Term Care occupies the third, fourth and fifth floors of the hospital A-Wing in the same building.
Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital
The Integrated Stroke Unit is there. Do not plan stroke-unit rehab as if it happens at Trench Street. If the discharge is from Vaughan, the city page that matches that hospital is Vaughan, not this one.
Houses, rows and Yonge Street
What kind of housing is Richmond Hill, and what follows from it?
Richmond Hill is mixed. The 2021 Census count used by York Region is 69,320 occupied dwellings: about 57 percent single-detached, 15 percent row, and 21 percent apartment. Apartments of five or more storeys rose 23 percent between 2016 and 2021 and make up about 19 percent of dwellings.
On the detached and row streets the usual access problems are interior stairs and a front step. On the Yonge Street corridor around Hillcrest Mall, Harding Boulevard and north to Mon Sheong at 11199 Yonge Street, the usual problem is booking an elevator for a hospital bed. Ontario's Assistive Devices Program is provincial.
