Description
The Leckey Mygo Stander is Leckey's modular pediatric stander for prone, upright, and supine standing in school-age children. Westin Healthcare quotes it after a clinical assessment, then delivers and sets it up for families in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
Sunrise Medical Canada prints two sizes: Size 1 about 4-10 years, 42.5-57.1 in, 110 lb (50 kg); Size 2 about 8-14 years, 53.1-66.9 in, 132 lb (60 kg). A crank moves the frame between supine, upright, and prone. The child's occupational therapist or physiotherapist sets the angle and the accessories. We do not give clinical advice.
Who this stander is for
This stander is for a child who has outgrown Squiggles or Squiggles+ and still needs 3-position standing. Families usually call us when a therapist has named Mygo, or when they are choosing between Mygo, Horizon, and the R82 Caribou.
- Children in the 4-14 year band who need prone, upright, or supine standing in one frame
- Programs that need up to 20 degrees of knee and foot adjustment, and up to 25 degrees of knee contracture accommodation
- Homes that want a crank rather than an electric remote
This is not the Mygo Seating System. That is a sitting chair.
How the Mygo Stander stands
Prone and supine each run 0-80 degrees on the Canada card. Chest height is 29.9-42.5 in on Size 1 and 38.6-51.2 in on Size 2. Hip height is 18.1-28.7 in and 24.4-34.4 in. Chest width 6.3-11.0 / 7.9-12.6 in. Hip width 8.7-13 / 11-15.4 in. Footplate 10 degrees either way. Tray 0-6 in above the hip pad, 45 degrees in prone or supine. A caregiver stays with the child in the frame.

- Leckey Squiggles Plus Stander, ages 1-5 with abduction

- R82 Caribou Stander, live multi-position R82 sibling
Funding help for a pediatric stander in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) lists pediatric walkers, standers, and strollers as funded mobility aids. ADP can fund 75% of the cost of a pediatric stander when it is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full client share. Not every product or situation qualifies, so talk to us and the child's therapy team before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), Easter Seals Ontario, and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this stander across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, assemble the quoted size, and show you the crank, the knee cups, and the accessories before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a stander first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Purchased standers are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
Pediatric standers are oversized configured equipment. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the stander is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Frequently asked questions
Does ADP cover a pediatric stander in Ontario?
Ontario lists pediatric walkers, standers, and strollers among mobility aids. An ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist assesses the child. Call (905) 451-7743 and we will talk through the funding route before anyone orders a Mygo Stander.
What sizes does the Leckey Mygo Stander come in?
Two sizes. Size 1 is about 4-10 years, 42.5-57.1 inches, 110 lb. Size 2 is about 8-14 years, 53.1-66.9 inches, 132 lb. The therapist's measurements pick the size.
Is the Mygo Stander prone or supine?
Both, plus upright. Sunrise Canada prints 0-80 degrees in prone and 0-80 degrees in supine, moved with a crank. The therapist sets the angle.
How is this different from the Mygo Seating System?
The Mygo Stander is a standing frame. The Mygo Seating System is a sitting chair that can also mount on a ZIPPIE IRIS. They share a name family. They are separate quotes.
Can it accommodate a knee contracture?
Sunrise Canada prints a maximum knee contracture of 25 degrees, and up to 20 degrees of angle at the knee and foot supports. The therapist decides whether that range is enough.
What is the weight capacity of the Mygo Stander?
Size 1 is 110 lb (50 kg). Size 2 is 132 lb (60 kg). Stay inside the figure for the quoted size.
Should we look at Horizon instead?
Horizon is the electric 0-90 degree frame for older teens and adults (Size 2 and Size 3 on the Canada card, to 220 lb). Mygo is the crank school-age frame. The therapist names which one matches the child.
What is included with the Leckey Mygo Stander?
You get the quoted size, the crank frame, and the accessories the therapist specified. There is no single stock package. Westin Healthcare delivers and sets up across Brampton and the GTA.
What is the warranty on the Mygo Stander?
Leckey prints three years on manufactured products and components. Sunrise Canada notes provincial and funding variation. Westin Healthcare processes the claim through our service and repairs page.
