Description
The Leckey Squiggles Plus Stander is Leckey's 3-in-1 pediatric stander with up to 60 degrees of hip abduction, for children about 1-5 years. Westin Healthcare quotes it after a clinical assessment, then delivers and sets it up for families in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
Sunrise Medical Canada prints the same height and weight band as the standard Squiggles Stander: 29.5-43.5 in (75-110 cm) and 48.4 lb (22 kg). Prone, upright, and supine sit in one product. The child's occupational therapist or physiotherapist sets the abduction angle and the standing position. We do not give clinical advice.
Who this stander is for
This stander is for a young child whose therapy team wants 3-in-1 standing plus measured hip abduction, or a frame that splits into three pieces for the car. Families usually call us when a therapist has named Squiggles+, or when they are choosing between Plus, standard Squiggles, and the R82 Caribou.
- Children in the 1-5 year band who need prone, upright, or supine standing
- Programs that need up to 60 degrees of bilateral hip abduction with a gauge for repeatable setup
- Families who will take the frame apart for a vehicle
If abduction and the three-piece pack are not on the therapist's list, the Squiggles Stander is the simpler sibling.
How Squiggles+ stands
Hip laterals move with the legs through the abduction arc. Prone angle is printed 90-70 degrees. Supine is 90-160 degrees. Chest height is 21.7-32 in. Hip height is 11.8-20.8 in. Chest and hip width are 6.3-9 in. The footplate moves 10 degrees either way. A caregiver stays with the child in the frame.
The support frame is 15.4 x 15.4 x 26.8 in and 14.3 lb. The pivot base is 14.3 lb, 23.2 in wide, 37.4 in long unfolded and 26 in folded. Three colours plus a vinyl cover option. The cover kit on the Canada card includes pelvis and trunk harnesses, chest and hip cushions, chest laterals, knee supports, a pelvic harness, and a spine cap cover.
Leckey Squiggles Plus Stander specifications
These figures are from Sunrise Medical Canada's current Squiggles+ card. The specification tab holds the stored values.
Knee midline 5.5-8.4 in. Tray height prone 21.9-31.5 in, supine 18.5-31.5 in. Tray angle prone 30 degrees, supine 40 degrees. Small sandal 3 x 6.3 in. Medium sandal 3.2 x 8.3 in. Leckey manuals print a three year warranty on manufactured products and components. Sunrise Canada notes provincial and funding variation.
Squiggles+, Squiggles, Mygo, or Caribou
Stay with Plus when abduction or three-piece travel is the reason for the quote. Stay with standard Squiggles for the same age band without that package. Move to Mygo from about 42.5 in. Stay with Caribou when the therapist named R82.
- Leckey Squiggles Stander, the standard 3-in-1 in this age band
- Leckey Mygo Stander, next size, crank prone and supine
- R82 Caribou Stander, live multi-position R82 sibling
Funding help for a pediatric stander in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) lists pediatric walkers, standers, and strollers as funded mobility aids. ADP can fund 75% of the cost of a pediatric stander when it is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full client share. Not every product or situation qualifies, so talk to us and the child's therapy team before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), Easter Seals Ontario, and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this stander across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, assemble the three pieces, and show you the abduction gauge, pivot, and covers before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a stander first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Purchased standers are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
Pediatric standers are oversized configured equipment. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the stander is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Frequently asked questions
Does ADP cover a pediatric stander in Ontario?
Ontario lists pediatric walkers, standers, and strollers among mobility aids. An ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist assesses the child. Call (905) 451-7743 and we will talk through the funding route before anyone orders a Squiggles+.
How much hip abduction does Squiggles+ have?
Sunrise Medical Canada prints up to 60 degrees of bilateral hip abduction, with a measurement gauge so the therapist can repeat the angle. Hip laterals move with the legs. The therapist sets the number.
What age is the Leckey Squiggles Plus for?
The same 1-5 year, 29.5-43.5 inch, 48.4 lb band as the standard Squiggles Stander. The therapist's measurements pick the setup.
Does Squiggles+ come apart for the car?
Yes. Leckey shows the Squiggles+ splitting into three pieces for a car or other vehicle. The support frame is 14.3 lb. The pivot base is 14.3 lb. We will talk through the vehicle when we book delivery.
Is Squiggles+ a replacement for the Squiggles Stander?
No. Both are current on Sunrise Medical Canada. Plus adds abduction and the three-piece pack. Standard Squiggles remains the 3-in-1 pivot chassis without that package.
What is the weight capacity of the Squiggles Plus Stander?
The Leckey Squiggles Plus Stander is printed at 48.4 lb (22 kg). Stay inside that figure.
What colours does Squiggles+ come in?
Sunrise Canada prints three colours plus a vinyl option. The quote names the cover set. We do not invent a colour list the card does not name.
What is included with the Leckey Squiggles Plus?
You get the quoted frame, pivot base, cover kit, and accessories the therapist specified. There is no single stock package. Westin Healthcare delivers and sets up across Brampton and the GTA.
What is the warranty on the Squiggles Plus Stander?
Leckey prints three years on manufactured products and components. Sunrise Canada notes provincial and funding variation. Westin Healthcare processes the claim through our service and repairs page.
