The Axiom S cushion is Ki Mobility's entry skin-protection foam wheelchair cushion for Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. The live G/S/P card prints a 3 inch (7.6 cm) overall height, 2.3 inch (5.7 cm) leg troughs, 2.2 lbs (1 kg), widths and depths from 14 to 22 inches (35.6 to 55.9 cm), and a 350 lb (158.8 kg) rating.

This is a quote-only size. A seating therapist confirms width and depth before we order. Ki Mobility writes S for immersion and envelopment, with deeper hexagonal shapes in the pelvic well than G. It is still foam, not fluid. If a seating therapist wants a different family, Westin also quotes the JAY Fusion with Cryo, the ROHO High Profile, and the Prism Supreme II Plus.

The Axiom S cushion fits a person whose seating therapist wants a foam pressure relief cushion at the Axiom entry skin-protection step, without Hydrolite and without the taller P troughs. Stay here when foam immersion is enough. Move to the Axiom SP Visco Cushion or the Axiom SP Fluid Cushion if the therapist wants a dedicated well insert.

Skin-protection well and cover

The Axiom S cushion uses the same high-IFD polyurethane foam family as G and P. Ki Mobility puts special emphasis on the pelvic well so the hexes can immerse and envelop the tissues around the bony prominences. One pleated 4-way stretch cover reduces surface tension. Choose standard Lycra knit or wipeable incontinence-resistant polyurethane. The zipper is reversed and self-sealing with a three-sided opening.

Ki Mobility labels S as skin protection. That is a design class, not a clinical outcome claim. A seating therapist still owns the skin-care plan.
