This is the Rehab Total Support Sling. The Full Standing Support Sling, the Medcare Walking Sling, and the padded Walking Sling are different articles with their own codes. It is a loop sling. Who this sling is for
The Rehab Total Support Sling is for a person who can stand with only a little help and needs a torso-and-leg harness while they practise standing, weight bearing, and walking. Handicare applies it from a sitting position in a chair or wheelchair. The person must be able to stand. The sling steadies them and is there if they slip. It is not a sling for a fully dependent sit-to-stand lift, and it is not a leave-in-place sling.

What you get
You get one Rehab Total Support Sling in the article on your quote. The body is black polyester. Dual hook-and-loop chest straps pass through two D-rings. The back panel is a reinforced 12 in non-slip support. Two removable leg straps with soft foam padding buckle to the torso. Four loops go on the carry bar. A lift is sold separately. Spare leg straps (510427 to 510432) are quoted on their own if you need an extra pair.
Fit the back support on the person's back and bring the torso panel under the arms. Loop the chest straps through the D-rings and close the hook-and-loop. Attach the loops to the carry bar, starting with the first loop, and keep the load even on both sides. Raise until the straps take up. Re-seat the leg pieces if the person is not upright, and give them parallel bars or a similar rail for the last part of the rise before they walk.
Sizing
Handicare sizes this sling by waist circumference. People of the same height or weight can still need different sizes. If the person is over 400 lb, ask us for a sling consultation. Confirm the size with a clinician or our staff before first use.

Inspect loops, buckles, hook-and-loop, and seams before each use and after every wash, and discard the sling if you find tears or serious defects. Expected life is up to 4 years, depending on use, care, and laundering.

Care and laundering
Put the sling in a laundry bag before it goes in the washer so the buckles and straps do not catch on the agitator. Wash at up to 176 F (80 C). Do not use bleach and do not dry-clean. Follow the tag on the sling you receive. Inspect fabric, seams, buckles, hook-and-loop, and loops after every wash.
This sling is not for leave-in-place use. Take it out after the session. Leaving it under the person for long periods raises the risk of skin breakdown.

Attachment and compatible lifts
The Rehab Total Support Sling is a loop sling. Four loops seat on a Handicare or Savaria carry bar. Handicare states that the first loop is the starting hook-up and that both sides must share the load. It does not use clip fasteners and it does not use Human Care E-clips.
Handicare states that this sling can be used with a floor lift or a ceiling lift, and that its loop slings fit its complete range of carry bars. On our floor the loop carry-bar motors are the Handicare C450, the Handicare C625, the Handicare A450, the Handicare AP300 portable motor, the Savaria M-Series ceiling lift, and the two-point SlingBar on the Handicare Carina 350. The finished session is limited by the lowest rating among the lift, the bar, and the sling. A Carina 350 transfer stays inside 350 lb even though this sling is 800 lb. A 450 lb motor is the limit on a C450 or A450.
If the person needs a full-seat loop sling rather than a standing-and-walking harness, start with the Handicare Universal Sling. How is this different from a Full Standing Support Sling, a Medcare Walking Sling, or a Walking Sling?
This card is the hook-and-loop Rehab Total Support Sling, 800 lb, with a 12 in back and removable padded legs. The person must be able to stand. A Full Standing Support Sling is a dual-buckle sit-to-stand article at 600 lb on reusable poly. A Medcare Walking Sling is a 600 lb vest with three abdominal buckles. A Walking Sling is a padded underarm gait sling. Ask us for the card that matches the lift and the person's support needs.
Can it stay under the person after the session?
No. Handicare states this sling is not suitable to leave under the person. Take it out after the session.
Can it lift someone who cannot stand?
No. Handicare states this sling must not be used to lift a person from sitting to standing if they cannot stand. It can give some help. Its main job is to steady a person who is returning to standing and walking, and to support them if they slip.
How do I wash it?
Use a laundry bag. Wash at up to 176 F (80 C). No bleach and no dry-cleaning. Follow the sling tag. Expected life is up to 4 years, depending on use, care, and laundering.
