This is the Medcare vest-style walking sling. The padded Walking Sling with underarm padding is a different Savaria article. WalkingBelt is a small paediatric torso belt, not a lift sling. The Medcare Care Stand Belt is a sit-to-stand belt. This page is the 4-point loop walking sling. It does not use clip or E-clip fasteners. What you get
You get one Medcare Walking Sling in the size on the quote: the waist vest, the detachable leg harnesses, the four attachment loops, and the handles around the belt. A lift is sold separately.
The vest goes around the waist and closes with three buckles at the abdomen. Non-slip material helps the belt stay low. The fabric has a slight stretch so it can follow the body. The waist vest and the leg harnesses can be paired for a custom fit. Four white loops hang on the support hooks of the hanger bar. Handles around the belt let a caregiver guide the person if that is part of the plan.

Care and laundering
Machine wash the sling in soap at a maximum of 165 F (74 C). Rinse it well. Hang it or tumble dry it at a maximum of 175 F (79 C). Do not use bleach. Do not dry clean. Do not overload the dryer or rest the sling against the dryer heat source. Follow the tag on the sling you receive. Inspect loops, buckles, seams, and fabric after every wash. Take the sling out of service if anything is worn or the label cannot be read.

Attachment and compatible lifts
The Medcare Walking Sling is a loop sling. Four white loops seat on a 2-point or 4-point hook-and-loop hanger bar. It does not use clip fasteners and it does not use Human Care E-clips.
Savaria lists it for overhead lifts and mobile lifts that use that hook-and-loop bar. The official application is a ceiling-lift hook-up. On our floor those loop carry-bar hooks sit on the Handicare C450, the Handicare C625, the Handicare A450, the Handicare AP300 portable motor, the Savaria M-Series ceiling lift, and the two-point SlingBar on the Handicare Carina 350. The finished session is limited by the lowest rating among the lift, the bar, and the sling. A Carina 350 stays inside 350 lb even though this sling is 600 lb. A 450 lb motor is the limit on a C450 or A450. Confirm the bar type before the first walk.

When something on the sling needs work, you call the shop that sold it, not a US parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department.
Medcare manufacturer warranty
Medcare prints 6 months on slings and belts, from the date marked on the tag. Removing or altering the date tag voids that cover. The cover includes Canada. Inspect the sling before every use and replace it when the cloth, seams, buckles, or loops show wear. Westin Healthcare processes the claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.

Those Handicare motors use loop carry-bar hooks, which is the attachment class this sling is built for. It also fits the C625, the AP300, and the Savaria M-Series ceiling lift. Confirm the bar on your motor and stay inside the lowest working load. A Carina 350 stays inside 350 lb.
How do I put it on?
Place the vest around the waist and fasten the three buckles at the abdomen. Fit each leg harness. Hang the four white loops on the support hooks of the hanger bar. We will walk through the first application with you.
Can the leg harnesses come off?
Yes. The leg harnesses detach. The waist vest and the legs can be paired for a custom fit. The size you pick on the quote is the complete sling we ship.
