Description
The Axiom CS is Ki Mobility's custom linear (planar) seating system for Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Ki builds the back, seat, laterals, head support, trunk supports, and lower-extremity pieces as one configured system. Combine it with a Ki Mobility wheelchair so the seating and the base stay compatible. This is a quote-only seating system, specified after a seating assessment.
Ki writes Axiom Custom Seating for unique postural challenges that a stock cushion and back cannot cover. A seating therapist and an ADP authorizer write the component list with Westin before anything is ordered.
Who this seating system is for
The Axiom CS system fits a person whose therapist needs a planar seat and back with named laterals, a head support, and lower-extremity pieces from one manufacturer. Stay on a stock Axiom back such as the Axiom PL Back or a kids shell such as the Axiom PXAL when a published contour is enough. Pediatric frames such as the Little Wave Flip or the Tyke are common partners when the assessment is pediatric.
- Planar / linear seat and back, not a stock foam contour
- More than 50 cover material and colour combinations
- Transit-approved hardware options as Ki prints them
What the CS family covers
The live card groups the system as Back, Seat, Lateral Pelvic/Thigh, Lateral Thigh, Lateral Trunk, Medial Thigh, Head, Anterior Trunk, Lower Extremity, Tray/Armrest, Foam, and Cover Material. Back lines include the backrest, back hardware, packages, modifications, and accessories. The order form asks for the mobility-base model, frame width, frame depth, and cane sizes (back top, back bottom, seat) so Ki can build hardware that matches. Solid seat and solid back packages exist with 2-point or 4-point hardware. Contoured seat modifications are listed as Low, Mid, Tall, or Custom. Width and height modifications go to 22-24 inches and 25-28 inches on the order form. We do not invent pickers for any of those lines.
Ki prints guaranteed wheelchair and seating compatibility when CS ships with a Ki chair, more than 50 cover combinations including neoprene, vinyl, and Tek Stretch, itemized or packaged options, and a free embroidered name. Ki does not print a single system weight capacity on the live card. A seating therapist names each component. Westin confirms the chair canes and the frame size before the order leaves.
Axiom CS Planar Seating System specifications
These figures are from Ki Mobility's current Axiom CS card, brochure DCN0454.1, order form DCN1463.0, and the CS sizing guide. The specification tab holds the stored values. We do not invent a component picker on this page.
Custom linear seating. Component pad sizes are listed in the official sizing guide (pelvic/thigh, trunk, medial thigh, headrests, foot boxes, trays). Cane sizes are collected on the order, not guessed. Cover contact and non-contact materials are written on the form. Ki does not publish a system-level weight capacity on the live card.
No dedicated Axiom CS owner's manual is linked on the live card. Ask us for the insert that ships with the order.
How a CS system is ordered
A seating therapist measures the person, names each planar component, and writes the mobility-base model and cane sizes. Westin builds the Ki order as a quote. That work happens in a fitting, not on a product page.
Which Axiom seating fits
The Axiom CS system is the custom linear path. A single customizable shell is the Axiom Custom Back. Stock adult backs are the PB, PL, LB, and DL. The kids set is the PXP and PXSP cushions plus the PXPL, PXAL, and PXALCL backs. Hardware and belts that are not built into CS live on the Axiom Positioning Hardware and Axiom Positioning Softgoods pages.
Funding help for a wheelchair cushion or back support in Ontario
This cushion or back support is an ADP positioning device category item. Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of positioning devices such as cushions and back supports when they are prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist with an eligible mobility device, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every product qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers this seating system across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area once it is built. We bring it in, check each component against the chair, and show you the covers and closures before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a planar sample first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased seating is delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
If the system is going outside the GTA, ask us for a shipping quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Frequently asked questions
Is Axiom CS A Cushion Or A Whole Seating System?
The Axiom CS is a custom linear seating system. The therapist can specify a planar seat, a planar back, laterals, a head support, trunk supports, and lower-extremity pieces on one order.
How Do I Choose Between CS And A Stock Axiom Back?
Stay on a stock Axiom PB, PL, LB, DL, or kids shell when a published contour fits. Move to Axiom CS when the therapist needs planar components built as a system. Do not guess that path from a photo.
Does ADP Cover Planar Seating?
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program can help with a wheelchair cushion or back support after an ADP-registered therapist assessment with an eligible mobility device. Eligibility depends on the person and the prescribed components. Call (905) 451-7743 or use the funding page before you buy.
Will CS Fit A Little Wave Or Tyke?
Ki writes Axiom CS to combine with a Ki Mobility wheelchair for compatibility. The order form collects the model, frame width, frame depth, and cane sizes. Westin confirms a Little Wave, Tyke, or other Ki base before we order.
What Cover Materials Are Offered?
Ki prints more than 50 cover material and colour combinations on the CS brochure, including neoprene, vinyl, and Tek Stretch. A seating therapist names the contact and non-contact materials. We do not invent a cover picker.
Is There A Published Weight Capacity?
Ki does not print a single Axiom CS system weight capacity on the live card. Individual hardware pieces carry their own limits on the order form. Ask us to read the form against the assessment.
How Long Is The Axiom CS Warranty?
Ki does not link a dedicated Axiom CS owner's manual on the live card. Ask us for the insert that ships with your order.
Can I See Axiom CS In Brampton?
Westin Healthcare can show planar seating samples in the Brampton and Toronto stores and deliver across the GTA. Call (905) 451-7743 to check what is on the floor and to book an assessment.
