Who this sling is for
This sheet is for a person who needs help to turn or move sideways in bed, when the care plan calls for a hoistable sheet that can stay on the mattress. 3D Spacer fabric supports leave-in-place use and effective pressure management, helping reduce the risk of pressure injuries and promote skin integrity. It is used in acute care, long-term care, and bariatric care. It is not a sit-to-stand sling and it is not a hygiene sling with a commode opening.

What you get
You get one sheet in the size on the quote. Large is 3D Spacer. Extra Large is 3D Spacer with COOLMAX and COOLMAX freshFX EcoMade. Each sheet has elastic corners and colour-coded loop tapes along both long sides. Loop straps only.
It can be used as part of the bed make-up when combined with a draw sheet. A draw sheet is not listed as part of the carton; ask us if you need one quoted with the sheet.

Savaria prints sheet width (A) and sheet length (B). Generous sizing makes it suitable for a wide range of body dimensions. Those figures are a guide. Confirm the size with a clinician or our staff before first use.

Attachment and compatible lifts
The In-Situ Repositioning Sheet is a loop sheet. Colour-coded loop tapes run along both long sides. No clip, stud, or E-clip version is offered on this article. Do not put these loops on a clip bar, a stud bar, or a Human Care E-clip / mushroom bar. If the bar is an E-clip, see the Human Care Full Body Sling E-clip instead.
On our floor, Handicare loop carry-bar hooks sit on the Handicare C450, the Handicare C625, and the Handicare A450, and on the two-point SlingBar of the Handicare Carina 350. Confirm the bar type before the first lift. A 450 lb motor limits the system to 450 lb even though the sheet is 1,000 lb or 1,200 lb. A Carina 350 limits the system to 350 lb. A C625 limits the system to 625 lb.

Care and laundering
Follow the label on the sheet you receive. Wash at 95 C (203 F). Tumble dry on low heat, maximum 50 C. Inspect loops, elastic corners, fabric, and the label after every wash. Take the sheet out of service if anything is worn or the label cannot be read.

Does it fit a C450, A450, C625, or Carina 350?
Those Handicare motors use loop carry-bar hooks, which is the attachment class this sheet is built with. Confirm the bar on your motor and stay inside the lowest working load. A 450 lb motor is the limit on the C450 and A450. A Carina 350 is a 350 lb limit. A C625 is a 625 lb limit.
How do I wash it?
Wash at 95 C (203 F). Tumble dry low, maximum 50 C. Follow the label on the sheet you receive.
Does a draw sheet come in the box?
No. The sheet can be used as part of the bed make-up when combined with a draw sheet. Ask us if you need a draw sheet quoted with it.
