The HelpUp Fall Recovery Lift is Climbing Steps' inflatable floor recovery device for people who have fallen and need a controlled, non-emergency way back to a seated or near-standing position. Westin Healthcare delivers across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
Who it is for
Use HelpUp after a fall when there is no suspected serious injury and caregivers need to avoid manual lifting from the floor. The owner manual rates capacity at 300 lb and device weight at about 23 lb. If serious injury is possible, call emergency services first. HelpUp is not a day-to-day transfer lift like the Freedom Transfer or Freedom EveryLift.
How it works
The chair-style inflatable design rises under the person with the included AirLift pump. Printed guides mark where to sit, place the head, and hold. Caregiver and user handholds support a controlled rise. When deflated, it packs into the storage bag for closet or vehicle storage.
