It keeps the person upright and supported in a sling seat while a caregiver moves them between bed, wheelchair, toilet, recliner, or similar surfaces. How it differs from Freedom Transfer
The Freedom Transfer uses a hard split seat without a traditional hanging sling. EveryLift uses a nylon sling seat with a padded backrest and an expanding base, which suits transfers the hard-seat Freedom cannot reach as easily. If the person only needs dry-room split-seat moves, start with Freedom Transfer. If they need wider chair or vehicle access, start here.
Battery and care
Manufacturer copy describes a 22.2 V lithium-ion pack, about 3 to 4 hours to recharge, and up to about 84 lifts per charge. The owner manual warranty covers primary functional components including motor and battery for 12 months from purchase under normal use. Follow the manual for sling placement, brakes, and cleaning.
