These SKUs are Dolphin FIS mattresses without the control unit. Buy them when the AutoVector still works and the surface is due for replacement. For the complete kit see the Dolphin FIS system.
Capacities follow Joerns' 2021 spec sheet: 500 lb on 35 in and 42 in, 1000 lb on 48 x 82 x 10 in. Mattress weight 22 lb. Expandable EX is 35 x 80-92 x 8 in.
Who this mattress is for
This mattress is for an adult Dolphin AutoVector that still runs. It is not the pediatric mattress and it is not the 17 x 17 seat.
Funding help for a therapeutic mattress in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund mattresses or support surfaces. ADP funds, on purchase only, 75% of the approved price of manual and power wheelchairs, approved scooters, seating, and wheeled walkers for adults. OHIP does not reimburse this purchase. Ontario Health atHome (310-2222) and March of Dimes Canada can help some low-income applicants. Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), WSIB, ODSP discretionary benefits, and private insurance are the other common routes. Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this mattress across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, place it on the bed, connect a control unit when the order includes one, and check the fit before we leave.
You are welcome to visit our Brampton showroom at Unit 7, 15 Fisherman Drive if you would rather see a surface first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service. Purchased mattresses are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
Hospital mattresses are oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the mattress is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order. HST is extra.
