The Hoyer Deluxe Transport is Joerns' loop transport sling for a Hoyer stand-aid. Westin Healthcare sells it in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Joerns prints a 440 lb / 200 kg sling SWL. On the Hoyer Journey we sell, the lift limit is 341 lb, and that lower number wins. Official SKUs are NA13502N Small, NA13501N Medium, and NA13503N Large.
Joerns: the Deluxe Transport sling is an easy-fit general-purpose sling giving full support to most clients. It will not suit double amputees or lifting from a horizontal position. Active lifts only.
Who this sling is for
This sling is for a person who can use a Hoyer Journey or Elevate, who stays at or under the 440 lb sling rating (341 lb on our Journey), and who needs a seated transfer rather than a standing belt. Families usually call us when the clinician named a Deluxe Transport or when the Deluxe Standing sling does not give enough seat support.

If the person can stand with support, start with the Hoyer Deluxe Standing. If the person cannot use a stand-aid at all, see a floor lift and the Hoyer Full Back.
Sizing and fit
Joerns colour-codes the binding: Small red, Medium yellow, Large green. On the official Active slings chart the recommended bands are a guide only. Small 75-150 lb. Medium 125-200 lb. Large 175-440 lb. A risk assessment decides the size. Confirm with a clinician or our staff before the first use.
Attachment and compatible lifts
This is a loop transport sling. Joerns' Journey / Ascend / Elevate chart marks this family as loop. Active lifts only.

Attach the top loops to the white hooks on the hand grips and the leg loops to the black knobs on the lift yoke, as Joerns draws it. Do not put this sling on a Drive sit-to-stand lift.

How to buy, delivery and setup
The price is the sling you pick. HST is extra. Westin Healthcare ships this sling across Brampton and the GTA, or you can pick it up at our Brampton showroom at Unit 7, 15 Fisherman Drive. If you buy it with a lift we already sold you, we bring the sling in, fit the loops or clips, and show you the attachment before we leave.
You are welcome to visit our Brampton showroom if you would rather see a sling first. For a scheduled visit, call (905) 451-7743. Same-day delivery is offered through our patient lift rental service when a lift and sling go out together. Purchased slings ship on a scheduled date.
This sling is a smaller good. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer can apply when the sling ships on its own. If it travels with an oversized lift, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.
Funding help in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund slings. ADP funds, on purchase only, at 75% of the approved price: manual and power wheelchairs, approved scooters, seating, and wheeled walkers for adults. OHIP does not reimburse this purchase. For low income applicants, call Ontario Health atHome at 310-2222 or ask March of Dimes Canada. Care and warranty
Joerns: machine wash warm, do not exceed 185 F / 85 C. Do not wash with bleach. Cool tumble dry, air dry, or dry at very low temperature. Do not dry clean. Inspect before every use. Destroy and discard worn slings.
Joerns' 2025 Hoyer sling warranty covers Pro slings for 12 months from purchase by the original owner. We handle the claim with you. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department.
