Description

Joerns' RC 1000 spec prints an 84 in deck and 96 in with the optional extender. RC1000FEXT is that kit. Fit an 84 or 96 in mattress to match the deck you set.

The RC 1000 itself is a 1000 lb expandable Camtec frame (17-30 in height, 39-54 in mattress width, split frame, five-function control, integrated scale). The frame is not a SKU in this bundle.

Who this extender is for

This extender is for a Joerns RC 1000 when the person needs the 96 in deck. It is not the EasyCare or UltraCare 4 in / 8 in length kit.

Funding help for a hospital bed in Ontario

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund hospital beds. The provincial ADP page lists hospital beds and mattresses under equipment it does not cover. OHIP does not reimburse this purchase. Ontario Health atHome (310-2222) and March of Dimes Canada can help some low-income applicants. Veterans Affairs Canada, WSIB, ODSP discretionary benefits, and private insurance are the other common routes. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week. The price is this foot-extension kit. HST is extra. Westin's team delivers across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. If it mounts to a Joerns bed we already set up, we fit it on that visit. Call (905) 451-7743 to book.

Visit our Brampton showroom at Unit 7, 15 Fisherman Drive if you want to see the part first. Freight outside the GTA is quoted on the order. Any charge is confirmed before we ship.
