Description
The Pride Evolution LC-435 is Pride Mobility's current 3-position Sitting Pretty lift chair sold in Petite Wide, Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, and Extra Extra Large. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Pride prints all six sizes on the Evolution collection.
Pride's Evolution specification table rates Petite Wide, Small, Medium, and Large at 400 lbs (181 kg), Extra Large at 500 lbs (227 kg), and Extra Extra Large at 600 lbs (272 kg). PW, S, M, and L are enhanced 3-position with pull-out cup holders and USB-A and USB-C. XL and XXL are traditional 3-position chairs with a 2-amp lithium backup pack as standard.
Who this lift chair is for
This lift chair is for a person who wants a current Pride 3-position chair and fits one of the six Pride builds. Petite Wide and Small follow Pride's 5'3" (160 cm) and below guide. Medium is 5'4" to 5'9" (163 to 175 cm). Large is 5'9" to 6' (175 to 183 cm). Extra Large and Extra Extra Large are printed for 5'8" to 6'1" (173 to 185 cm) at 500 lb and 600 lb.
If you want a simpler Small or Medium 3-position chair at 325 lbs, see the Pride Genesis LC-150. If you want power headrest and lumbar on a 3-position chair, see the Pride Muskoka LC-475.
- Six Pride sizes from Petite Wide to Extra Extra Large
- 400 lb on PW/S/M/L; 500 lb on XL; 600 lb on XXL
- Cosi Mocha, Gravel, Blue Diamond, Syrah, or Sta-Kleen Chestnut, by size
3-position recline and the two Evolution groups
A 3-position Pride lift chair moves the back and footrest together. You can stop anywhere in that travel. You cannot raise the feet while the back stays upright. That independent travel is infinite-position, and it is a VivaLift, not the Evolution.
Pride splits Evolution into two groups. Petite Wide, Small, Medium, and Large are enhanced 3-position: the footrest extends before the back reclines, and each arm pulls out a cup holder and a storage well with USB-A and USB-C. The toggle remote docks magnetically on either side. Extra Large and Extra Extra Large are traditional 3-position, made in America of foreign and domestic parts, with a USB charger in the hand control and a 2-amp lithium backup pack as standard. PW through Large use an integrated backup; Pride does not print lithium as standard on those four sizes.
The backup is there so the lift can still run if the room loses power. The chair is not a substitute for a caregiver when the person cannot use a hand control.
Fit and size
Pride prints six builds. Figures below come from Pride's live US specification table and the 062326 brochure. Pride Canada's shop card prints a wider seat-width set on its feature bullets. We confirm the invoiced build when you order. Measurements may vary by about 1 inch (2.5 cm).

PW, S, M, and L: enhanced 3-position, coil pocketed spring, fully padded chaise, footrest extension standard, 400 lbs, 7-year pro-rated. XL and XXL: traditional 3-position, Total Comfort, 500 lb and 600 lb, lithium backup standard, 7-year pro-rated. Split back on every size Pride prints.
Colour options
Pride prints Cosi Mocha, Cosi Gravel, Cosi Blue Diamond, and Cosi Syrah, plus Lexis Sta-Kleen Chestnut. Petite Wide and Extra Extra Large drop Blue Diamond and Syrah on the official table. Extra Large drops Syrah on that same table. Pride Canada's shop shows the five colours on one card. Ask us which colour Pride will put on the size you need.
Evolution, Genesis, or Heritage
The Evolution is Pride's current 3-position size ladder, including Petite Wide and the 500 lb / 600 lb chairs. The Genesis LC-150 is Small and Medium only at 325 lbs. The Muskoka LC-475 is Small, Medium, and Large with power headrest and lumbar. The Heritage LC-358 is the older Pride size ladder with optional heat and massage. A VivaLift such as the Tranquil 2 is infinite-position, not 3-position.
Funding help for a lift chair in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund lift chairs, so plan around other routes. Funding that may help instead: March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), extended health plans, and community programs, and a lift chair's lift mechanism may qualify as a medical expense on a Canadian tax return when prescribed. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through before you buy.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this lift chair across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, place it, and show you the hand control before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a lift chair first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased lift chairs are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
A lift chair is larger than small parcel goods. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the chair is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Service and warranty
When something on the chair needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a US parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Pride manufacturer warranty
Pride's Evolution sheet prints a 7-year pro-rated limited warranty for the original purchaser. Pride's lift-chair insert also keeps a lifetime term on the lift and scissor mechanism and the lift frame, and 12 months on the lithium backup pack when that pack is fitted. Fabric sits outside that term. Exceeding the printed rating for the size you buy voids the Pride warranty. We handle the claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
