Description
What is the Relax Spiral Fit?
Power Plus makes this back for someone whose spine curves. The shell has a cutout so the back can follow that curve, and the gentle laterals give moderate support at the lower chest. Their sheet says the laterals cover about 10 inches of the lower thoracic area. This is not the Relax Gentle Form back, which has no spiral cutout.
What size is in stock?
20 inches of back width by 18 inches of back height. Power Plus calls 16 to 18 inch widths the standard range, so 20 inches is a custom width. Other widths and heights on this record are not priced and are not offered here.
What the sheet lists
High-resilience foam. An aluminum shell of about 3 lb. Holes already punched for a headrest and for lateral pads. Hardware that fits 7/8 inch or 1 inch tubing, with 2 inches of width adjustment on the pins. The back can tip 25 degrees forward and 20 degrees back. Finished height is the shell height plus 2 inches. The bottom of the cover is TEK4, which they describe as waterproof for cleanup. The quick reference sheet is attached. A headrest is a separate part.
