The Savaria Supreme Pannus Support Sling holds the pannus (abdominal apron) so staff can reach the skin for hygiene. It is a one-size loop sling in Silva-Superfine with COOLMAX EcoMade, with extra-long cam-buckle straps for the bed frame and lifting straps for a loop carry bar. Westin Healthcare quotes it and fits it in Brampton and across the Greater Toronto Area.
This sling supports the abdomen during care. It is not a seated transfer sling. For a plus-size bed-to-chair lift, start with the Savaria Deluxe Bariatric Sling. What you get
You get one B-PAN sling. The body is Silva-Superfine with COOLMAX EcoMade: a lightweight polyester with two-way stretch that moulds during the hold. The curved edge sits against the stomach. Grey markers help you centre it. The label sits on the underside. Two extra-long straps with cam buckles wrap a plus-size bed frame. Separate lifting straps go on the loop bar. A lift, a carry bar, and a slide sheet are not in the carton.
The instructions show two ways to use it. Staff can take the fabric over the apron and hold it by hand. Or they can hook the lifting straps and raise the lift just enough for access. A slide sheet can help you place the sling.

Savaria prints one size, code B-PAN. Confirm the fit with a clinician or our staff before first use. There is no second width and no body-weight size chart.

Attachment and compatible lifts
This is a loop sling. The lifting straps seat on a loop carry-bar hook. The instructions say to use it only with a suitable loop lift. They also say it can be used with a standard coat-hanger spreader bar. It does not use clip fasteners or Human Care E-clip / mushroom bars.
The finished system is limited by the lowest rating among the lift, the carry bar, and the sling. The sling is rated 352 lb. The person's weight must stay inside that figure and inside the lift's own safe working load.

Care and laundering
Wash at 71 C / 159 F with a non-biological detergent. Tumble dry on low heat, maximum 50 C. Close any hook-and-loop before the wash. Do not iron. Do not dry the sling on a heater or a steam pipe. Inspect loops, cam buckles, seams, and the label after every wash. Remove the sling from use if anything is worn, torn, or if the label cannot be read.

Can it move someone from bed to chair?
No. It holds the apron for care. For a seated transfer, use the Savaria Deluxe Bariatric Sling or the Handicare Universal Sling.
Does it fit a C450 or C625?
Those Handicare motors use loop carry-bar hooks, which is the attachment class this sling is built for. Confirm the bar on your motor and stay inside the lowest working load. On a C450 the pair is limited to 352 lb.
Can staff use it without a lift?
Yes. The instructions show a manual hold, with caregivers at the head of the bed or at the sides, after the cam-buckle straps are on the bed frame. The lift raise is the other method on the same sheet.
How do I wash it?
Wash at 71 C / 159 F with a non-biological detergent and tumble dry on low heat, maximum 50 C. Follow the label on the sling you receive. Inspect it after every wash.
