The Lumex LF2090 is GF Health's bariatric Easy Lift sit-to-stand patient lift. Westin Healthcare sells it under stock code 139-LF2090 and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. GF prints a 600 lb evenly distributed safe working load for the LF2090.
Who the LF2090 is for
This lift is for a person who can actively take part in the stand and can partially support their own weight through the legs. It is not a full-body sling lift for someone who cannot stand at all. If the person needs a full-body transfer, see the Hoyer HPL402, the Medline MDS400EL, or the Span F500P.
How the LF2090 works
A battery-powered actuator raises the boom while the person stands into a sit-to-stand sling. The caregiver uses the hand pendant. A foot pedal opens and closes the base. An adjustable knee pad and a removable foot platform support standing and gait work. GF lists a floor clearance of 4.7 in so the base can pass under many beds.
Use a sit-to-stand sling sized for the person and rated for at least 600 lb when you need the full lift capacity. Shop sit-to-stand slings. Never exceed the lower rating of the lift and the sling.
