Description
Hugo Comfort Max crutches are Hugo Mobility's tall-adult underarm pair, item 721-780. Westin Healthcare sells the pair and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Drive prints a 300 lb (136 kg) rating, anodized aluminum, push-button height, washable grips, and a curved stair deflector at each tip.
This is 721-780, the Tall Adult SKU. It is not 721-785 Adult and not 721-790 Youth. Drive's current spec sheet sells the line as a pair (1PR) and names a carton of eight pairs. Approximate patient-height settings are labeled on the center tube in 1 inch steps.
Who these crutches are for
Drive writes that Hugo Comfort Max crutches are comfortable, lighter than wood, and made so a person can go farther without feeling as fatigued. Drive's Tall Adult window on the 2020 crutches chart is a user height of 5 ft 10 in to 6 ft 6 in (178 to 198 cm). Families here usually call when a taller person needs a pair for a recovery and wants the height set in Brampton or the GTA.
Drive does not tell a reader to pick this pair over forearm crutches or a knee walker. Westin does not give medical advice. If the person is shorter than that Tall Adult window, see the Medline Basic Adult Aluminum Crutches or the EZee Life Junior Aluminum Crutches.
- A tall-adult underarm pair with Drive's 300 lb (136 kg) rating
- Push-button height with labeled 1 inch settings on the center tube
- Anodized aluminum with washable grips and a thick underarm pad
Fit and height
Drive names 721-780 Tall Adult and prints a user-height window of 5 ft 10 in to 6 ft 6 in (178 to 198 cm) on the official crutches compare chart. Approximate settings are labeled on the center tube to within 1 inch. Drive's current one-page spec card does not reprint a handle-height row for this SKU.
Come into a Brampton or Toronto store with the shoes the person will wear and we will set both sticks from the labeled tube. Drive does not print a "gap under the arm" number on the 721-780 card. Stay at or under the 300 lb (136 kg) rating.
Frame, pads, and tips
The frame is anodized aluminum. Drive says it is lighter than wood. Accessories are contoured and smooth so they wipe clean. Grips are washable. The underarm pad is thick. Each tip has a curved stair deflector and a built-in metal ring Drive says protects against premature wear.
Drive's 10400-series replacement grips, cushions, and 7/8 inch tips name 10400, 10401, 10402, 10430, 10431, and 10432. They do not name 721-780. We will not claim those Drive 10400 parts as a Hugo fit.
Weight and portability
Drive does not print a unit weight on the current 721-780 spec card. The pair is a walking-aid carton, not oversized freight. We still bring it in and set the labeled height if you want setup in Brampton or the GTA.

Underarm crutches or forearm crutches
Hugo Comfort Max 721-780 is an underarm (axillary) pair: a pad at the top and a hand grip on the post. Forearm crutches use a cuff around the forearm and have no underarm pad. Drive does not tell a reader which class a clinician would choose. Westin does not give medical advice.
If you want a forearm pair with a printed 29 to 38 inch push-button range, see the Cardinal Health Push-Button Forearm Crutches. If a knee pad is a better shape than either crutch, see the Mobb Knee Walker.
Funding help for a cane or crutches in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund standard canes or crutches, so plan around other routes. Funding that may help instead: March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), extended health plans, and community programs. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through before you buy.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this pair across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in and set both heights from the labeled tube before we leave.

Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased walking aids are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
This is a compact carton. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods can apply when it ships on its own. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Service and warranty
When something on the pair needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a US parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Drive manufacturer warranty
Drive prints a limited lifetime term on Hugo Comfort Max crutches for the original purchaser. That term does not cover misuse, negligence, or normal wear, and it does not extend to rubber accessories, grips, or tips. We handle the claim with you.
