Description
The Handicare Height Adjustable Shower Trolley is a hydraulic recumbent trolley for showering in a lying position. Savaria Patient Care lists it as Height Adjustable Shower Trolley. Westin Healthcare quotes it, delivers it, and shows you how to use it across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
This is the Handicare / Linido textile trolley, articles LI2513.1904-02 (flat) and LI2514.1904-02 (adjustable backrest). It is not the Beka SINA Comfort shower trolley. SINA is a different listing with a padded mattress, tilt, and a higher safe working load. Stay on this page when the prescription names the Handicare height-adjustable shower trolley or the LI2513 / LI2514 family.
Who it is for
This trolley is for a person who needs to shower lying down, when a seated shower chair is not enough and the care plan names a recumbent Handicare trolley. The caregiver rolls it beside the bed, matches the deck height with the foot pump, then raises it for an upright working height in the wet room. Both NA articles are rated 150 kg (330 lb).
- Homes, group homes, and care rooms that shower a person in a lying position
- A person inside 150 kg (330 lb) on LI2513.1904-02 or LI2514.1904-02
- A wet room that can take a 740 mm (29.1 in) wide trolley at 1905 mm (75 in) long
- A caregiver who needs hands-free height control and a drain hose at the reservoir
What you get
You get one trolley in the model on your quote, with two hinged side fences, a perforated HT-cover lying surface, a PVC water receiver, and a 1000 mm (39.4 in) flexible drain hose. A lift and a sling are not in the carton. A spare fence (LI2590.1254-02) is quoted only if you want an extra pair.
The frame is powder-coated stainless steel in white. The HT-cover is plastic-coated woven polyester, fastened tightly around the frame. Perforations let water into the reservoir and give some back ventilation. Savaria describes a surface that adapts to body temperature. Four double-braked 125 mm (4.9 in) castors roll over floor transitions. Lock all four before a transfer or a shower. Clean the trolley with a normal household detergent. Do not use aggressive cleaners. The bathroom-family brochure also says to rinse it after every use and wipe it dry.
Height Adjustable Shower Trolley specifications
These figures are for the Handicare LI2513 / LI2514 family on the North American 1900 mm stainless-white codes, not SINA Comfort and not the wall-hinged shower stretcher. The specification tab holds the stored values.
Safe working load is 150 kg (330 lb) on both articles. Overall length is 1905 mm (75 in). Savaria names the lying surface 1900 mm (74.8 in). Overall width is 740 mm (29.1 in). Hydraulic height is 550-900 mm (21.7-35.4 in). The lying surface is about 560 mm (22 in) wide inside the rim. Side fences stand 200 mm (7.9 in) above the deck. The backrest on LI2514 is a gas spring from 5 to 80 degrees. Stay inside the number printed on the article you receive.
Models
Use the Model selector to pick the factory article on your quote:
- LI2513.1904-02: Flat, 1900 mm, coated stainless steel white, 150 kg (330 lb). The person may lie either way.
- LI2514.1904-02: Adjustable backrest, 1900 mm, coated stainless steel white, 150 kg (330 lb). Gas-spring backrest, 5-80 degrees.
This listing is quote-only. Both codes ship in white coated stainless steel. The 1500 mm and 1700 mm lengths printed on the European table are not on the Savaria North American card. Ask us before anyone assumes those lengths. The swimming-pool trolley in polished stainless 316 is a different article.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this shower trolley across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, assemble it, and show you the height pedal, the drain hose, and the side fences before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a trolley first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works.
Shower trolleys are oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the trolley is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.
How a person gets onto this trolley
The trolley is not a lift. Handicare shows two paths. Roll it beside the bed, match the height with the foot pedal, lock the four castors, drop the near-side fence, and move the person across. Or use a full-body loop sling on a floor or ceiling lift and lower the person onto the deck, then raise the fences. Lock every castor before anyone is lifted onto or off the trolley.
We already sell the Handicare Universal sling for that transfer. Pair it with the Handicare Carina 350 or the Beka CARLO Classic when the room uses a floor lift, or with the Handicare C450 when the wet room already has a rail. Shop loop styles in universal slings and full-body slings. We will match the sling and the lift to the 150 kg trolley rating so the installed system uses the lowest of those numbers.
Service, repairs, and warranty
When something on the trolley needs work, you call the shop that set it up. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Handicare shower trolley warranty
The Bathroom Safety Products brochure prints a two-year warranty on this product family. The trolley instructions do not print a separate year count. Inspect the frame, the cover, the fences, and the castors regularly. Tighten the expander bolts on the wheels before first use and again after four weeks. We handle the claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Handicare Height Adjustable Shower Trolley?
It is a hydraulic recumbent shower trolley. The person lies on a perforated textile deck. Water drains into a PVC reservoir and out a hose. The caregiver changes height with a foot pump. Savaria's shop name is Height Adjustable Shower Trolley.
What models can I quote?
Two North American factory codes: LI2513.1904-02 (flat, 1900 mm) and LI2514.1904-02 (adjustable backrest, 1900 mm). Both are coated stainless steel in white and both are 150 kg (330 lb). We will match the selector to one of those articles.
What is the safe working load?
150 kg (330 lb) on both NA articles. Stay inside the number printed on the trolley you receive. Do not read a SINA 165 kg or 250 kg figure onto this page.
How is this different from the SINA Comfort shower trolley?
This is the Handicare hydraulic textile trolley at 150 kg. SINA Comfort is a separate Beka listing with a padded mattress, tilt, and higher working loads. If the assessment named SINA, wait for that card. If it named the Handicare height-adjustable trolley or LI2513 / LI2514, use this page.
Is the height electric?
No. Height is a manual hydraulic foot pump. The backrest on LI2514 is a gas spring, not a motor. There is no battery on this trolley.
Does it include side fences and a drain hose?
Yes. Two hinged side fences and a 1000 mm (39.4 in) flexible drain hose ship with the trolley. A spare fence is article LI2590.1254-02 if you want an extra pair.
Can I get a 1500 mm or 1700 mm length?
The Savaria North American card and the brochure Part No. line offer the 1900 mm stainless-white codes only. The European table also prints 1500 mm and 1700 mm. Call (905) 451-7743 before anyone assumes those lengths are in Canadian stock.
How does a person get onto the trolley?
Roll it beside the bed, match the height, lock the castors, and move the person across, or lower them from a loop sling on a floor or ceiling lift. We already sell the Handicare Universal sling, the Carina 350, the CARLO Classic, and the C450 for that job.
Can the person lie either way?
On the flat LI2513, yes. Savaria calls that bi-directional. On LI2514 the backrest sets the head end.
How do I clean it?
Handicare's trolley instructions say to clean it regularly with a normal household detergent and not to use aggressive cleaners. The bathroom-family brochure also says to rinse it after every use and wipe it dry.
Does a lift or a sling come with it?
No. A quote on this page is the trolley in the code you pick, with the two fences and the drain hose. The lift and the sling are planned with the room.
How fast can a purchased trolley be delivered in the GTA?
This is an oversized cart. Ask us for the next scheduled setup date. Call (905) 451-7743. Same-day delivery belongs to the rental service for lifts and beds, not automatically to a purchased shower trolley.
