Description
The Triumph Escape rollator is Triumph Mobility's aluminum Type 3 4-wheel rollator with a seat. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. It is a lightweight folding walker with fixed seat heights of 19, 21, and 24 in. It is not the heavier Escape HD.
Triumph's current spec table rates every Escape at 300 lb (136 kg). The Standard 24 in build weighs 15.8 lb (7.2 kg). Wheels are 8 in with anti-shock foam. The T-frame stands when folded and locked. Brakes are cable-free. The SKU we stock as 500-10241 is Charcoal, Standard, 24 in seat.
Who this rollator is for
This rollator is for a person who stays at or under the 300 lb rating, fits a 19 in grip width, and wants a Canadian Type 3 that folds for a trunk and still stands on its own in a closet. Families usually call us when they want 8 inch wheels and a padded seat, and they do not need the 441 lb Nexus 3 or the Stella Heavy Duty.
If you want a cross-fold at 441 lb, start with the Human Care Nexus 3. If you want the Quebec Type 3 with a 14.75 lb standard frame, see the Amylior Stella. The indoor 6 inch Type 2 is the Nexus oNe.
- Daily indoor and paved outdoor use with 8 inch wheels
- Three fixed seat heights: Super Low 19, Low 21, Standard 24
- A T-frame that stands folded, with cable-free brakes
Fit and height
Stand with your arms relaxed at your sides and measure from the floor to the crease of your wrist. That number should fall inside the handle range for the seat you pick. Triumph seat heights are fixed per build. You do not crank the seat up and down on one frame.
Super Low: seat 19 in (48 cm), handles 28-36 in (71-91.5 cm). Low: seat 21 in (54 cm), handles 29.5-37.5 in (75-95 cm). Standard: seat 24 in (61 cm), handles 32-40 in (81-102 cm). Distance between handles is 19 in (48.25 cm). Arms have a gentle 7 percent slope. We set the handle height at delivery.
Wheels, brakes, and folding
The Escape uses 8 in swivel wheels with anti-shock foam and a curb climber. Brakes are cable-free, with wider handgrips than a typical loop. Triumph prints the brakes as the easiest-to-apply hand brakes on their rollator line. Lock them before you sit.
Lift the release handle to fold. The T-frame stands folded and locked. Triumph also says it can hold weight slightly or fully folded so you can pass a narrow doorway. Folded depth is 11 in (28 cm).
Weight and portability
Triumph prints 15.4 lb (7 kg) on Super Low, 15.6 lb (7.1 kg) on Low, and 15.8 lb (7.2 kg) on Standard. Overall width is 25 in (63.5 cm). Overall length is 25.6 in (65 cm). That is a car-trunk fold that stands while you close the hatch.
A folding shopping bag is rated 11 lb (5 kg). Triumph also sells a cane holder, cup holder, serving tray, phone holder, slow-down brake, and extra seat pad as separate accessories. Ask us if you want those.
Triumph Escape specifications
These figures are for the current Triumph Escape table on triumphmobility.com. The specification tab holds the stored values. Use 19 in between handles and a 19 in seat, not leftover 18 / 18.5 in lines. Use Super Low 19, Low 21, Standard 24.
Capacity 300 lb (136 kg). Wheels 8 in. Folded depth 11 in. Colours on the maker: Charcoal, Red, and Blue. Warranty for a Canadian purchaser follows Triumph's printed terms: lifetime on the frame, 5 years on the brake handles and components. Wear items such as hand grips, brake cables, and wheels sit outside that term. Original purchaser only.
Colour and size
Use Rollator Size for Super Low 19 inch, Low 21 inch, or Standard 24 inch. Use Colors for Red or Charcoal. Triumph also lists Blue. Ask us if you want Blue. The stored SKU 500-10241 is Charcoal Standard 24 inch. The other sizes and colours are the rest of the same Escape line.
Escape, Nexus 3, or Stella
The Escape is the Triumph Type 3 T-frame that stands folded, at 300 lb. The Nexus 3 is the cross-fold Type 3 at 441 lb. The Amylior Stella is the Quebec Type 3 with cable brakes and a 14.75 lb standard frame. Pick the Escape when you want the standing T-fold and a padded 19 in seat. Pick the Nexus 3 when capacity is the first number. Pick the Stella when you want the lightest standard Type 3 in this set.
Funding help for a walker or rollator in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a walker or rollator when the need is long-term and the aid is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every model qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.

Frequently asked questions
Walker vs Rollator: Which Is Better?
A walker is a frame you lift or slide, often with small front wheels and no seat. A rollator rolls on three or four wheels, has hand brakes, and usually has a seat. The Triumph Escape is a 4-wheel rollator with a padded seat.
How Do I Choose a Rollator Height?
Measure from the floor to the crease of your wrist with your arms relaxed. Pick the Triumph Escape whose handle range includes that number: 28-36 in on Super Low 19, 29.5-37.5 in on Low 21, or 32-40 in on Standard 24. The seat height is fixed per build.
Does ADP Cover Rollators?
Some Ontario routes can help with mobility equipment, including wheeled walkers, when the need is long-term and an assessment supports it. Eligibility depends on the person's situation. Call (905) 451-7743 or use the funding page before you buy.
Is This the 21 Inch or the 24 Inch Escape?
The Triumph Escape line has three fixed seats: Super Low 19 in, Low 21 in, and Standard 24 in. The stored SKU 500-10241 is Charcoal Standard 24 in. Use Rollator Size if you need the 19 or 21 inch build.
What Is the Weight Capacity of the Triumph Escape?
The Triumph Escape is rated at 300 lb (136 kg) on every seat height. Stay at or under that rating. The Escape HD is a different product.
