Description
This is Joerns' Dolphin FIS wheelchair cushion, 17 x 17 x 4 in. Westin Healthcare sells the cushion on its own. The AutoVector that runs it is the adult control unit, used in Chair/Stretcher mode. Joerns' wheelchair spec sheet says the pad can sit on stationary chairs and on standard and power wheelchairs.
Capacity is 250 lb (113.6 kg). Cushion weight is 5 lb (2.3 kg). Warranty on that sheet: 2 years on the cushion, 2 years on the control unit, 6 months on the cover.
Who this seat is for
This seat is for a person at or under 250 lb who already uses, or is being set up on, a Dolphin AutoVector and needs the same immersion while sitting. It is not a foam wheelchair cushion and it will not work without the pump.

Funding help for seating in Ontario
Assume no ADP funding for this Dolphin seat: we have not confirmed it on the current ADP approved list. In general, Ontario's Assistive Devices Program funds seating on purchase at 75% of the approved price only when the device is on that list, the need is long-term, and an ADP-registered authorizer assesses it. Ask us and we will check the listing before you order. ADP does not fund the Dolphin bed mattress. OHIP does not reimburse this purchase. Call (905) 451-7743 or use the funding page before you buy.
How to buy, delivery and pickup
This is a spare part, not a full mattress. Westin Healthcare ships it from the Brampton showroom at Unit 7, 15 Fisherman Drive, or can bring it on a scheduled visit. Call (905) 451-7743 before you order if you need us to fit it. HST is extra. The price is the part only.
