Hoyer Bariatric Hammock Sling

The 2026 price list calls these SKUs Hoyer Bariatric Sling. Joerns' chart and hammock manual name the same numbers as the Bariatric Hammock with Head Support, spacer fabric. Westin Healthcare sells Extra Large through 5X Large. No UPC is on the TSV for any of the five.

Who this sling is for

Joerns: a more specialised sling with integral boned head support and padded leg pieces. Fitted correctly, it will give full protection for patients who go into extension, have involuntary movements or behavioural problems. It hangs on a Calibre or HPL700 bariatric loop bar. The pommel adds security and helps reduce slippage during transfer.

How to buy, delivery and setup

The price is the sling in the size you pick. HST is extra. There is no lift in the box. Westin can ship the sling on its own, or send it with a Hoyer lift on a scheduled GTA delivery.

You are welcome to visit our Brampton showroom at Unit 7, 15 Fisherman Drive if you want to see a sling on a bar first. Call (905) 451-7743 to book. Same-day delivery is offered through our patient lift rental service when a lift and sling go out together. Purchased slings ship on a scheduled date.

This sling is a large hammock. Ask us for a freight quote if it is going outside the GTA. The small-parcel offer may not apply. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Funding help in Ontario

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund slings, patient lifts, hospital beds or mattresses. ADP purchase funding, at 75% of the approved price, is for manual and power wheelchairs, approved scooters, seating, and wheeled walkers for adults. OHIP does not reimburse a sling purchase.

If money is the barrier, start with Ontario Health atHome (310-2222) and March of Dimes Canada for low-income applicants. Toronto's Hardship Fund names lifts and slings on its published list. Care, cleaning and warranty

Joerns: machine wash warm, do not exceed 185 F / 85 C. Do not wash with bleach. Cool tumble dry, air dry, or dry at very low temperature. Do not dry clean. Inspect stitching and fabric before every use. Destroy and discard a bleached, torn, cut, frayed or broken sling. Do not alter slings.

When something needs work, you call the shop that sold it. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department.

Joerns Hoyer manufacturer warranty

Joerns' 2025 Hoyer sling warranty covers Pro slings for 12 months from purchase by the original owner. Wear from regular use sits outside that term. We handle the claim with you.
