N529AL is the Joerns trapeze Joerns prints as Trapeze Patient Helper on the EasyCare, UltraCare XT and WeCare sheets. The official WeCare spec photo is a grey boom, a chain and an orange triangular handle over a Joerns head panel. It is not a free-standing frame.

Who this trapeze is for

This trapeze is for a person who can pull up on a handle to reposition in a Joerns bed, after a therapist has said an overhead helper is appropriate. Families usually call when the bed in the room is already a Joerns and they do not want a second floor frame beside it.

If the bed is not a Joerns, or the adapter will not fit, see the Drive 13049SV free-standing trapeze (650 lb) or the Drive clamp-on bar for a metal headboard.

Adapter and clearance

Order the Joerns trapeze adapter for the bed you have. EasyCare, UltraCare XT and WeCare manuals: a wrong adapter install can move the head panel. After both parts are on, run the bed from high to low. Joerns asks for 1 in between the bottom of the bar and the floor at low height. WeCare's low height can rule some trapeze systems out. We check that on the visit.

Joerns did not print a weight or an assistance rating for N529AL on the sheets we opened. We will not print a dealer 10 lb, 26.5 lb or 200 lb line.

The price is the trapeze. HST is extra. Westin Healthcare delivers and fits it to the matching Joerns bed across Brampton and the GTA. We confirm the bed model on the frame sticker before we book the visit.

Visit the Brampton showroom at Unit 7, 15 Fisherman Drive if you want to see a Joerns frame first. For a scheduled in-home fit, call (905) 451-7743. Same-day delivery is the hospital bed rental path. Purchased kits are delivered on a scheduled date. Freight outside the GTA is quoted on the order. White-Glove Delivery inside Toronto and the GTA is on the shipping policy.

Funding help in Ontario

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund hospital beds, mattresses or bed accessories. OHIP does not reimburse these purchases. When a Joerns kit needs work, you call the shop that fitted it. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.

Joerns prints the long term on the bed frame (EasyCare 4 years electrical, UltraCare XT 5 years electrical, WeCare 1 year electrical). DC batteries and pendants sit on a 90 day wear term on those warranty pages. Confirm the Joerns term that applies to this kit on your order. Wear from regular use sits outside the long frame term.
