Joerns IV Rod

N431 is KIT, IV ROD on the Joerns list. EasyCare and WeCare manuals: four IV sockets are standard, two at the head and two at the foot. Those sockets take Joerns IV poles and most 1/2 in IV poles. EasyCare, UltraCare XT and WeCare accessory lists all include IV Rod.

Who this rod is for

This rod is for a Joerns EasyCare, UltraCare XT or WeCare that needs a Joerns pole in one of the factory sockets. Families order it for home IV, tube feeds or a gravity bag that should not hang off a rail.

The sockets are on the bed. This kit is the pole. A drainage-bag holder is a different Joerns accessory and is not N431.

Sockets and clearance

Joerns manuals warn that items hung on the bed must clear the floor at low height and must not pinch during a move. We show that on the visit if we fit the rod. Pole height, section count and hook count are not on the sheets we opened.

How to buy, delivery and setup

The price is the kit. HST is extra. Westin Healthcare ships this rod from our Brampton showroom at Unit 7, 15 Fisherman Drive. If you already have the matching Joerns bed, we can fit the kit on a scheduled visit across Brampton and the GTA.

You are welcome to bring the bed model sticker into the showroom so we confirm the kit before it leaves. For a booked fit, call (905) 451-7743. Same-day delivery is the hospital bed rental path. Purchased kits go out on a scheduled date. Freight outside the GTA is quoted on the order. White-Glove Delivery inside Toronto and the GTA is on the shipping policy.

Funding help in Ontario

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund hospital beds, mattresses or bed accessories. OHIP does not reimburse these purchases. Care, service and warranty

When a Joerns kit needs work, you call the shop that fitted it. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.

Joerns prints the long term on the bed frame (EasyCare 4 years electrical, UltraCare XT 5 years electrical, WeCare 1 year electrical). DC batteries and pendants sit on a 90 day wear term on those warranty pages. Confirm the Joerns term that applies to this kit on your order. Wear from regular use sits outside the long frame term.
