Joerns WeCare Length Extension

N354AL is the only WeCare length kit on the 2026 Canadian list. The WeCare spec: standard length 80 in, optional 4 in extender. There is no 8 in WeCare line on that sheet.

Who this extension is for

This kit is for a taller person on a Joerns WeCare who needs 84 in, not 80 in. The EasyCare 4 in kit (N301AL) is a different frame. Do not order it for a WeCare.

If you need 88 in, the WeCare sheet does not offer it. Look at the EasyCare 8 inch kit only if the bed itself is an EasyCare, or the UltraCare XT 4-8 inch extender only if the bed is an UltraCare XT.

Mattress and room length

The same Joerns extender warning used on EasyCare and UltraCare XT applies: use a mattress that matches the new length, and do not sit on the extender without a foot panel. Confirm the extra 4 in still clears the wall and the door swing. WeCare already sits at 86.9 in overall on the 80 in model in the WeCare manual.

How to buy, delivery and setup

The price is the WeCare 4 inch length extension. HST is extra. Westin Healthcare delivers and fits it to the matching Joerns bed across Brampton and the GTA. We confirm the bed model on the frame sticker before we book the visit.

Visit the Brampton showroom at Unit 7, 15 Fisherman Drive if you want to see a Joerns frame first. For a scheduled in-home fit, call (905) 451-7743. Same-day delivery is the hospital bed rental path. Purchased kits are delivered on a scheduled date. Freight outside the GTA is quoted on the order. White-Glove Delivery inside Toronto and the GTA is on the shipping policy.

Funding help in Ontario

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund hospital beds, mattresses or bed accessories. OHIP does not reimburse these purchases. Care, service and warranty

When a Joerns kit needs work, you call the shop that fitted it. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.

Joerns prints the long term on the bed frame (EasyCare 4 years electrical, UltraCare XT 5 years electrical, WeCare 1 year electrical). DC batteries and pendants sit on a 90 day wear term on those warranty pages. Confirm the Joerns term that applies to this kit on your order. Wear from regular use sits outside the long frame term.
