N228AL is printed on the Joerns list as EXTRA MATTRESS STOP AND MOUNT FOR F026/F028, (EACH). F026 and F028 are official Joerns assist handles on EasyCare, UltraCare XT and WeCare.

Who this stop is for

This stop is for a Joerns bed that already has, or is being ordered with, an F026 pivoting assist or an F028 deluxe assist, and that needs the extra mattress stop those handles use. It is not the four-retainer set and it is not the N517 side-stop pair.

The F026 and F028 assists themselves are not on this page. Ask us for the assist if the bed does not already have one.

One stop or a full retainer set

If the mattress is walking at the corners and the bed has no F026 or F028, start with the retainer set. If the bed is an UltraCare XT that needs the 76 in side stops, start with N517. N228AL is only the extra stop those two assists take.

How to buy, delivery and setup

The price is the kit. HST is extra. Westin Healthcare ships this stop from our Brampton showroom at Unit 7, 15 Fisherman Drive. If you already have the matching Joerns bed, we can fit the kit on a scheduled visit across Brampton and the GTA.

You are welcome to bring the bed model sticker into the showroom so we confirm the kit before it leaves. For a booked fit, call (905) 451-7743. Same-day delivery is the hospital bed rental path. Purchased kits go out on a scheduled date. Freight outside the GTA is quoted on the order. White-Glove Delivery inside Toronto and the GTA is on the shipping policy.

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund hospital beds, mattresses or bed accessories. OHIP does not reimburse these purchases. When a Joerns kit needs work, you call the shop that fitted it. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.

Joerns prints the long term on the bed frame (EasyCare 4 years electrical, UltraCare XT 5 years electrical, WeCare 1 year electrical). DC batteries and pendants sit on a 90 day wear term on those warranty pages. Confirm the Joerns term that applies to this kit on your order. Wear from regular use sits outside the long frame term.
