Joerns Panel Retaining Kit

These kits are the panel brackets on the UltraCare XT Accessories sheet: they make Joerns panels need tools to come off when a care setting wants that extra hold. Joerns names three UltraCare XT kits (foot, head, head with trapeze). N497AL is the Care 100 foot kit on the same Canadian list.

Who this kit is for

This kit is for a home or a facility that does not want Joerns panels lifting off without a tool, or that is fitting a trapeze adapter and needs the matching retainer. Families call us when a panel has been lifted off during a transfer or a clean.

The panels themselves are on the EasyCare Traditional, UltraCare XT AdvanceCare and Care 100 pages. This page is only the retainer.

Which kit to pick

Head panel: N495AL. Foot panel: N494AL. Trapeze adapter: N496AL (order with the trapeze adapter if you are adding a helper). Care 100 foot: N497AL. Do not put the Care 100 foot kit on an EasyCare or UltraCare XT.

How to buy, delivery and setup

The price is the kit. HST is extra. Westin Healthcare ships the retaining kit from our Brampton showroom at Unit 7, 15 Fisherman Drive. If you already have the matching Joerns bed, we can fit the kit on a scheduled visit across Brampton and the GTA.

You are welcome to bring the bed model sticker into the showroom so we confirm the kit before it leaves. For a booked fit, call (905) 451-7743. Same-day delivery is the hospital bed rental path. Purchased kits go out on a scheduled date. Freight outside the GTA is quoted on the order. White-Glove Delivery inside Toronto and the GTA is on the shipping policy.

Funding help in Ontario

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund hospital beds, mattresses or bed accessories. OHIP does not reimburse these purchases. Care, service and warranty

When a Joerns kit needs work, you call the shop that fitted it. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.

Joerns prints the long term on the bed frame (EasyCare 4 years electrical, UltraCare XT 5 years electrical, WeCare 1 year electrical). DC batteries and pendants sit on a 90 day wear term on those warranty pages. Confirm the Joerns term that applies to this kit on your order. Wear from regular use sits outside the long frame term.
