Joerns EasyCare Length Extension

N301AL and N302AL are the EasyCare add-on length kits. The 2026 EasyCare spec lists 4 in and 8 in length extension as a fixed accessory, beside the factory integrated 80 / 84 / 88 in option. The EasyCare 600 lb manual describes the four inch add-on as the way to put an 84 in mattress on an 80 in deck.

Who this extension is for

This kit is for a taller person on a Joerns EasyCare whose sleep deck is still 80 in, and who needs 84 in or 88 in. Families call us when heels hang off the foot of an 80 in mattress.

If the bed is an UltraCare XT, see the UltraCare XT length extension. If it is a WeCare, see the WeCare 4 inch kit. WeCare has no 8 inch kit on the Joerns sheet.

Mattress and foot panel

Joerns: length must match the mattress support platform. If a foam bolster is used to fill 84 in or 88 in, Joerns recommends placing that bolster at the head. The UltraCare XT and EasyCare manuals: the extender is designed for use with a foot panel. Sitting or sliding on the extender without a foot panel can make it fail.

Some EasyCare frames already have integrated length expansion (pins at 80 / 84 / 88 in). Those frames do not need this kit. We check the frame before we order.

How to buy, delivery and setup

The price is the EasyCare length extension. HST is extra. Westin Healthcare delivers and fits it to the matching Joerns bed across Brampton and the GTA. We confirm the bed model on the frame sticker before we book the visit.

Visit the Brampton showroom at Unit 7, 15 Fisherman Drive if you want to see a Joerns frame first. For a scheduled in-home fit, call (905) 451-7743. Same-day delivery is the hospital bed rental path. Purchased kits are delivered on a scheduled date. Freight outside the GTA is quoted on the order. White-Glove Delivery inside Toronto and the GTA is on the shipping policy.

Funding help in Ontario

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund hospital beds, mattresses or bed accessories. OHIP does not reimburse these purchases. Care, service and warranty

When a Joerns kit needs work, you call the shop that fitted it. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.

Joerns prints the long term on the bed frame (EasyCare 4 years electrical, UltraCare XT 5 years electrical, WeCare 1 year electrical). DC batteries and pendants sit on a 90 day wear term on those warranty pages. Confirm the Joerns term that applies to this kit on your order. Wear from regular use sits outside the long frame term.
