Description

The Hoyer HPL700 is Joerns' 700 lb bariatric floor lift. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes and care settings in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Joerns' spec sheet prints a safe working load of 700 lb (318 kg). The Joerns HTML spec list currently prints 227 kg beside 700 lb; that kg figure is a copy error. Use 700 lb / 318 kg.

Joerns designed the HPL700 to run with or without a weigh scale. That is why this page has two configurations. Cradles and spreader bars are interchangeable. Spare 6-point bars and the cradle-with-scale kit are their own products.

Who this lift is for

This lift is for a person who needs a full-body transfer above 500 lb and at or under 700 lb. If you need 850 lb, see the Hoyer Calibre. If 500 lb is enough, see the Hoyer Presence.

  • Full-body transfers at or under 700 lb
  • Powered base as standard
  • Scale as a configuration, not a surprise add-on

Cradles

Joerns says the HPL700 is compatible with multiple spreader bars so one lift can cover bariatric and non-bariatric sling work. Confirm the bar and the sling together. Start at our full-body slings.

How to buy, delivery and setup

The price is the lift. HST is extra. A Hoyer sling is sold separately unless the configuration you pick is a kit that names a cradle or scale. Westin's own team delivers and sets it up across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, assemble it, and show you the controls and the emergency functions before we leave.

You are welcome to visit our Brampton showroom at Unit 7, 15 Fisherman Drive if you would rather see a lift first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743. Same-day delivery is offered through our patient lift rental service. Purchased lifts are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.

Floor and stand-aid lifts are oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the lift is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Funding help for a patient lift in Ontario

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund patient lifts, slings, or other lifting devices. ADP funds, on purchase only, at 75% of the approved price: manual and power wheelchairs, approved scooters, seating, and wheeled walkers for adults. OHIP does not reimburse these purchases.

Routes that can help when the eligibility criteria fit: Ontario Health atHome (call 310-2222), March of Dimes Canada for low-income applicants, ODSP, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and hardship programs. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 before you buy.

Warranty

When something on the lift needs work, you call the shop that set it up. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Joerns' HPL700 and HPL450 product pages link the Hoyer Classics warranty PDF. That PDF names HML400, HPL402, and C-HLA, not these model numbers. The HoyerPro PDF names HPL700 as excluded from HoyerPro. We do not print a warranty year here until Joerns Canada names the term. Ask us when you order and we will confirm it in writing.
