Hoyer Classic One-Piece Sling

Joerns' One Piece user manual: this sling is designed for amputees and for people who have to remain in the sling for an extended period, for example during bed making or bathing. Westin Healthcare sells Small, Medium and Large. The commode-aperture version is a separate listing.

Who this sling is for

This sling is for a person on a Hoyer classic 4-point lift who needs a hammock that stays under them, including some amputees after a clinician's assessment. It is not a divided-leg U and it is not a 6-point Long Seat.

Small (Red) 70053. Medium (Yellow) 70052. Large (Green) 70051. Joerns bands 75-150, 125-200, 175-350 lb. Guideline only. Chart: XL applies to the commode version only.

One-Piece specifications

Joerns One Piece user manual: Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large each 600 lb / 272 kg on both the strap and commode-with-strap columns. The October 2025 brochure prints 500 lb on the same module. Copy uses the user manual. Classic chart 4-point. Classic warranty 6 months. Wash 185 F / 85 C, no bleach. Chart note: One Piece slings may be used for amputees.

How to buy, delivery and setup

The price is the sling in the size you pick. HST is extra. There is no lift in the box. Westin can ship the sling on its own, or send it with a Hoyer lift on a scheduled GTA delivery.

You are welcome to visit our Brampton showroom at Unit 7, 15 Fisherman Drive if you want to see a sling on a bar first. Call (905) 451-7743 to book. Same-day delivery is offered through our patient lift rental service when a lift and sling go out together. Purchased slings ship on a scheduled date.

This sling is a small parcel. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods can apply when it ships on its own. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Funding help in Ontario

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund slings, patient lifts, hospital beds or mattresses. ADP purchase funding, at 75% of the approved price, is for manual and power wheelchairs, approved scooters, seating, and wheeled walkers for adults. OHIP does not reimburse a sling purchase.

If money is the barrier, start with Ontario Health atHome (310-2222) and March of Dimes Canada for low-income applicants. Toronto's Hardship Fund names lifts and slings on its published list. Care, cleaning and warranty

Joerns: machine wash warm, do not exceed 185 F / 85 C. Do not wash with bleach. Cool tumble dry, air dry, or dry at very low temperature. Do not dry clean. Inspect stitching and fabric before every use. Destroy and discard a bleached, torn, cut, frayed or broken sling. Do not alter slings.

When something needs work, you call the shop that sold it. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department.

Joerns Hoyer manufacturer warranty

Joerns' 2025 Hoyer sling warranty covers Classic slings for 6 months from purchase by the original owner. Wear from regular use sits outside that term. We handle the claim with you.
