Joerns F025 Assist Handle

The Joerns F025 Assist Handle is the standard assist handle printed on the EasyCare 2026 spec accessory row. Westin Healthcare sells it and fits it on EasyCare frames we set up in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.

F025AL is the 2026 Canadian order code. Joerns did not print a weight capacity or a unit weight for this assist device on the sheets we opened. We will not invent those numbers.

Who this assist device is for

This device is for a person already on a Joerns EasyCare frame who needs the F025 assist handle. The EasyCare 2026 accessory row is the sourced fit. We have not sourced F025 on UltraCare XT or WeCare, so we will not fit it on those frames unless Joerns names them.

Rails and assist handles are a reminder. They are not a restraint. Joerns says to keep the mattress centred so a head or neck cannot catch in a gap.

Funding help for a hospital bed in Ontario

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund hospital beds. The provincial ADP page lists hospital beds and mattresses under equipment it does not cover. OHIP does not reimburse this purchase. Ontario Health atHome (310-2222) and March of Dimes Canada can help some low-income applicants. Veterans Affairs Canada, WSIB, ODSP discretionary benefits, and private insurance are the other common routes. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week. The price is this Joerns assist device. HST is extra. Westin's team delivers across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. If it mounts to a Joerns bed we already set up, we fit it on that visit. Call (905) 451-7743 to book.

Visit our Brampton showroom at Unit 7, 15 Fisherman Drive if you want to see the part first. Freight outside the GTA is quoted on the order. Any charge is confirmed before we ship.

Care

Wipe the device with the cleaner Joerns names in the bed manual. Do not use it as a crane or a transfer pole unless Joerns designed that device as a transfer handle. Call (905) 451-7743 if a latch feels loose.
