Description
DFLAL-CU is the replacement control unit for a Joerns DermaFloat LAL mattress. It is not the APL pump and it is not a P.R.O. Matt pump.
Joerns prints 7.5 in W x 12.25 in H x 5.5 in D, 10 lb, 120 V AC 60 Hz 5.1 A, Autofirm / Therapy / Pulsate, eight comfort settings, lockout, greater than 100 L/min low air loss. Electromechanical warranty is 1 year on the LAL statement.
Who this pump is for
This pump is for a DermaFloat LAL mattress that still holds air when the original control unit has failed. If you need the full kit, buy the LAL system.
Funding help for a therapeutic mattress in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund mattresses or support surfaces. ADP funds, on purchase only, 75% of the approved price of manual and power wheelchairs, approved scooters, seating, and wheeled walkers for adults. OHIP does not reimburse this purchase. Ontario Health atHome (310-2222) and March of Dimes Canada can help some low-income applicants. Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), WSIB, ODSP discretionary benefits, and private insurance are the other common routes. Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this mattress across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, place it on the bed, connect a control unit when the order includes one, and check the fit before we leave.
You are welcome to visit our Brampton showroom at Unit 7, 15 Fisherman Drive if you would rather see a surface first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service. Purchased mattresses are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
Hospital mattresses are oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the mattress is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order. HST is extra.
