ProBasics BSTBP is Compass Health Brands' padded transfer bench. Compass prints a 300 lb rating, a 21 to 25 in seat height, a 25 in by 15.5 in seat, 1.25 in open-cell foam under vinyl, and a reversible back for left or right hand transfers. Westin Healthcare sells the each from ERP BSTBP and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
Compass sells BSTBP 2 per case. Westin sells the single bench on this card. This is not Drive 12005KD-1, not Drive 12005KDC-1, and not the unpadded ProBasics BSTB blow-moulded bench.
Who this bench is for
Compass writes BSTBP for transfers in and out of a bathtub when a padded seat and back are wanted. The back reverses for a left or right transfer. Legs use one-inch snap buttons. How the BSTBP bench is built
Compass prints an aluminum anodized frame that is lightweight, sturdy, and corrosion-proof. Vinyl seat and back are padded with 1.25 in open-cell foam. Wide-based tips and suction cups sit on the legs. Legs adjust on one-inch snap buttons. The back converts for left or right hand transfers. Compass prints tool-free assembly.
Compass carton shipping weight is 25 lb. Dealer reprints of unit weight disagree. We omit unit weight.
Padded ProBasics or Drive padded bench
BSTBP is ProBasics. The published Drive padded transfer bench 12005KD-1 is a different SKU. The unpadded ProBasics BSTB uses a blow-moulded seat. Pick BSTBP when you want the Compass padded seat and back on this card.
