Description
AquaSense 770-660 is Drive Medical's on-bowl toilet safety rail. Drive's spec sheet names it AqS T.Safety Rail, On-Bowl, 1EA, 4CV, Ret. Drive prints a durable steel frame, a 300 lb rating, padded armrests, and width from 15.5 in to 18 in. The rails secure to standard and elongated toilets using the existing bolts. Westin Healthcare sells them and delivers them for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
This is not AquaSense 770-665. That published card is an on-floor rail at 250 lb, 18 or 21 in between arms, and 28 to 32 in high. Do not use those numbers on 770-660.
Who these rails are for
Drive prints that the rails provide added stability for getting on and off the toilet, and that the arms do not put a bar across the bowl. Westin does not give medical advice. A clinician decides whether on-bowl rails, floor rails, or a wall bar is the right class.
- AquaSense 770-660, on-bowl, steel, 300 lb
- Padded armrests, width 15.5 to 18 in
- Uses existing toilet bolts on standard and elongated bowls
How 770-660 mounts
Drive prints that the rails secure to both standard and elongated toilets using the existing bolts, and that installation is simple. Drive does not print stud or wall-anchor steps. These rails are not a wall grab bar and they are not the 770-665 floor frame.
We can set the 15.5 to 18 in width at delivery in Brampton and the GTA. If an arm sits loose on the bolt, stop and reset it before anyone uses the rails.
On-bowl rails or floor rails
770-660 bolts to the bowl. The AquaSense 770-665 stands on the floor around the toilet at 250 lb. The Drive Toilet Safety Frame with Padded Arms is RTL12000. The Parsons 16B242A is an aluminum toilet-bolt frame with moulded plastic arms and no printed capacity.
