Description
The BIOS reclining bath lift is BIOS Medical's 59023 powered seat for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. The manufacturer card prints 287 lb (130 kg), 2 in to 19 in of seat height, and a 10 to 50 degree recline. It is not a plumbing install.
BIOS publishes a 59023 instruction manual. Stay on that SKU. Do not order Drive 477400252 or 477200252 by accident.
Who this bath lift is for
This lift is for a person who needs a powered seat that lowers into the tub, stays at or under 287 lb, and has a smooth tub floor for the suction cups. The BIOS card prints a compact fit for most standard tubs. Textured floors are a problem for suction cups on other lifts; BIOS prints suction cups, not a textured-floor exception. We check the tub at delivery.
- Seat 2 in to 19 in
- Backrest 10 to 50 degrees
- Floating remote
How the lift works
The BIOS card prints a rechargeable remote that floats, four suction cups, and a sliding seat option. We set the lift on the tub floor as the IFU describes and show you the remote before we leave. No plumbing or hard-wired electrical work is printed on the BIOS card.
