SystemRoMedic EasySlide 50 x 60 cm Polyester

The SystemRoMedic EasySlide 50 x 60 cm polyester is a small padded sliding mat for turning in bed, moving a person higher up the mattress, or helping them from the bed to a wheelchair. Direct Healthcare Group article 2010 is polyester on the outside with ULF (Ultra Low Friction) on the inside. Westin Healthcare supplies it across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.

This is a transfer aid. It is not a patient lift sling. If you need a loop or clip sling for a floor lift or a ceiling lift, start at slings in Brampton instead.

Who this sliding mat is for

Direct Healthcare Group describes EasySlide 50 x 60 cm, 50 x 70 cm, and 25 x 60 cm as aids for turning in bed, moving someone higher up in bed, helping them out of bed, or transferring from the bed to a wheelchair. The small mat encourages the person to take part. For the caregiver it cuts out lifts that strain the back and shoulders.

How EasySlide 2010 is built

The outer fabric on article 2010 is polyester. Direct Healthcare Group says polyester is less sensitive to dirt than microfibre. Microfibre article 2020 is the more comfortable choice if the person will lie on the mat for a long time. Inside both is ULF, the maker's low-friction sliding material, with polyester padding between the layers.

Protective cover 2051 and disposable cover 2055 fit 2010, 2020, and 2030. They are accessories, not this SKU.

How to choose between EasySlide sizes

Use this 50 x 60 cm polyester card when the task is turning, boosting, or a short bed-to-wheelchair move and you want the dirt-resistant outer fabric. Care and laundering

Follow the care label on the mat. Direct Healthcare Group sells a washable polyester protective cover for this size when you want a layer you can strip and wash more often. Disposable plastic covers are the other hygiene option. Do not guess a wash temperature the leaflet does not print.
