Description
Parsons 16B242A is Parsons ADL's anodized aluminum toilet safety rail. Parsons prints that the frame attaches under the toilet seat using the hardware already mounted on the toilet, that height runs 25.5 to 29.5 in (65 to 75 cm), and that inside arm width runs 18 to 22 in (46 to 56 cm). Westin Healthcare sells the rail and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
This is a toilet-bolt frame with moulded plastic armrests. It is not AquaSense 770-660 (padded steel, 15.5 to 18 in, 300 lb) and not AquaSense 770-665 (on-floor rails). Parsons does not print a weight capacity on the 16B242A page. We will not invent one.
Who this rail is for
Parsons writes this rail for a standard toilet when the person wants arms beside the bowl without drilling the wall. The arms drop into an extruded aluminum bracket on push buttons so they can come off for cleaning or travel. Westin does not give medical advice. A clinician decides whether a toilet-bolt frame, a floor rail, or a wall grab bar is the right class.

We can set the height clicks and the two width positions at delivery in Brampton and the GTA. If a leg rocks, stop and reset the clicks before anyone uses the rail.
Toilet-bolt rail or floor rail
16B242A uses the seat bolts. The AquaSense 770-660 Toilet Safety Rails also use the existing bolts, with padded arms and a 300 lb Drive rating. The AquaSense 770-665 stands on the floor around the bowl. The Drive Toilet Safety Frame with Padded Arms is RTL12000, a different Drive SKU.
