Who this sling is for

This sling is for a person who needs a full-body transfer on a Drive floor lift and does not need a commode cutout in the fabric. It supports the head, neck, back, and legs. It is not a sit-to-stand sling. It is not a Hoyer clip sling.

• Bed to chair, chair to chair, or floor transfers on a Drive loop cradle
• Solid polyester when mesh or a commode opening is not the right cut
• Anyone whose Drive lift manual says to use a Drive DeVilbiss sling

If you need the mesh commode opening, shop the Drive 13221 full body sling with commode. If the person can bear most of their own weight, look at the Drive sit-to-stand sling. Other full-body styles live in full-body slings.

Sizing

Drive does not print a pounds-per-size table on the 13222 shop sheet. Drive's sling selection guide is a weight and height chart for Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large. Use it only as a guide. Confirm the size with a clinician or our staff before the first use.

All three listed sizes share the 600 lb family capacity. The working load of the lift still wins if it is lower. This card is Large 13222L. Ask us before you order Medium or Extra Large.

Attachment and compatible lifts

This is a loop sling. The straps are sewn loops. It is not a clip or Securi3 sling.

Drive's Levantar, Gravis, and 13244 manuals say to use Drive DeVilbiss slings only. Joerns says Hoyer slings and lifters are not interchangeable with other makers. Do not hang this sling on a Hoyer Advance.

Material is solid polyester. Colour is blue. Large product weight 3 lb. Four sling points on a 4-point or 6-point Drive cradle. Chain or strap kit not required. Safe working load 600 lb.

Care and laundering

Inspect the fabric, seams, and loops before every lift. Do not use the sling if anything is frayed or torn. Drive's current 13222 sheet does not print a wash temperature. Follow the care label sewn on the sling. Replace the sling when the label is unreadable or the fabric is worn.
