What is the Prism Supreme Gel?
Future Mobility builds it for someone who needs mild to moderate positioning and pressure distribution. A gel layer spreads load and cuts shear. Under that, a firm polyurethane base is cut for the pelvis and the thighs. A 3 inch visco-elastic insert sits under the sitting bones. The front edge is a waterfall so the feet can propel. The rear is cut for the chair canes so the cushion sits at the right depth.
What size is in stock?
18 inches wide by 16 inches deep. The part number is SGC1816. Prism's sheet lists ADP code SESFM0110 for the standard size range. That code is theirs. It is not an approval that funding will pay for this cushion. Other sizes are on the same product record and are not on the shelf. This price is the 18 x 16.
Covers and the gel
The sheet lists a 4-way stretch breathable outer cover, a water-resistant inner liner, and a non-slip cover. Future Mobility states that the gel contains latex, and that it is non-toxic and low odour. Do not use it if the person has a latex allergy.
