Description
The Pride i-Go is Pride Mobility's folding travel scooter, model S20. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Pride prints a 275 lb weight capacity, up to 4 mph, and a lithium-ion battery pack on the current i-Go specifications sheet.
Pride labels the i-Go as a non-medical device. It is for people who want light travel mobility help and who can transfer on and off a scooter safely. It is not sold here as a clinical treatment device.
Who the i-Go is for
This scooter fits a shopper who wants something lighter than a full-size outdoor scooter, who can fold or split the unit for a car trunk or a trip, and who stays within 275 lb. If you need a longer-range outdoor scooter, see the Pride Pursuit ES or ask us about other Pride travel scooters on our mobility scooters hub.
How the i-Go works
A brushless hub motor drives the front wheel. The tiller telescopes and angles for driving or storage. The seat folds, and the scooter separates into two pieces for lifting. Pride lists about 60.6 lb without the battery and about 4.8 lb for the 25.2V 9.6 Ah lithium pack. The heaviest piece when split is about 31 to 33 lb depending on the sheet. An LED headlight and a USB port sit on the console.
