Description
The SystemRoMedic OneWaySlide is a one-direction sliding mat for moving a person farther back in a chair or wheelchair. Savaria Patient Care lists it as OneWaySlide. The underside under the buttocks is Handicare ULF sliding material. The locking face resists forward slip, so the person can stay seated on it. Westin Healthcare quotes it and delivers it across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
This is not an in-bed slide sheet. If the work is turning or moving someone in bed, start with the EasySlide and WendyLett sheets we already stock. This is not SitWalk, which uses a walk-back motion under the thighs. This is not the unbranded one-way glides we already sell (11435 to 11439). Those do the same seated job on their own cards. OneWaySlide is the named SystemRoMedic / Handicare article family: a short tube, or a long 6-handle mat that ties to the wheelchair frame.
Who it is for
OneWaySlide is for a person who slides forward in a chair or wheelchair and needs to be moved back while remaining seated. The 6-handle mat is for a caregiver-assisted pull up the backrest. The tubular model is for a more active person on a seat cushion. If the person can lean forward and has good seated balance, one caregiver can do the pull. If the person is heavy or the chair has a high back, two caregivers work one on each side.
- Homes and care sites that reposition in a wheelchair or armchair
- A person who can remain seated on a padded glide
- Sites that want a named Handicare article with a printed safe working load
- A person inside 150 kg (330 lb) on 2069, 2070, 2075, and 2076, or inside 200 kg (440 lb) on 2077
What you get
You get one OneWaySlide in the article on your quote. The 6-handle mat has six handles and straps that tie to the rear frame of the wheelchair. The tubular model has no handles. Nothing else ships in the carton. A FootStool is a separate helper the tubular instructions name to raise the knees. We will quote that only if you want it.
Construction is polyester, polyamide, and cotton, with Handicare ULF under the buttocks. The design is padded so the person can stay sitting on it. Wash at 60-80 C. Do not use fabric softener. Avoid tumble-drying. Inspect seams, fabric, and handles after every wash. Compare the slide to a new unit. Discard the mat if the fabric is worn or faded.
OneWaySlide specifications
These figures are for the current SystemRoMedic OneWaySlide family, not EasySlide, not WendyLett, not SitWalk, and not the unbranded TS306xx glides. The specification tab holds the stored values.
Safe working load is 150 kg (330 lb) on tubular 2069 and 2070 and on 6-handle 2075 and 2076. Article 2077 is 200 kg (440 lb). Brochure and dimensions-sheet sizes: tubular 2069 is 50 x 40 cm (19.7 x 15.7 in); 2070 is 50 x 45 cm (19.7 x 17.7 in); 6-handle 2075 is 130 x 40 cm (51.2 x 15.7 in); 2076 is 130 x 45 cm (51.2 x 17.7 in); 2077 is 130 x 55 cm (51.2 x 21.7 in). Expected lifetime in the instructions is up to 10 years of normal use. The current 6-handle instructions mark it as a Class I medical device.
Do not read EasySlide bed lengths, SitWalk 6080, or the unbranded TS306xx sizes onto this page.
Sizes and models
Use the Size selector to pick the factory article on your quote:
- 2069: Tubular 50 x 40 cm, no handles, 150 kg (330 lb)
- 2070: Tubular 50 x 45 cm, no handles, 150 kg (330 lb)
- 2075: 130 x 40 cm, 6 handles, 150 kg (330 lb)
- 2076: 130 x 45 cm, 6 handles, 150 kg (330 lb)
- 2077: 130 x 55 cm, 6 handles, 200 kg (440 lb)
This listing is quote-only. The 6-handle mat goes on with the open section toward the back of the chair, the upper section up the backrest, and the straps tied to the rear frame tubing. The caregiver pulls the handles up the backrest. The tubular model sits on the seat cushion with the arrow toward the back and about 10 cm (3.9 in) hanging over the front edge. A rough cushion topside gives the best result. Raising the feet off the floor unloads the thighs and makes the move easier.

Which chairs this fits
OneWaySlide is made for a chair or wheelchair seat. The 6-handle mat ties to the rear frame tubing. The tubular model sits on the cushion. It is not a lift sling and does not attach to a carry bar. It is not an in-bed sheet.
If the person can stand and step with help, look at the Handicare ReTurn or the QuickMove sit-to-stand aid. If the work is in bed, stay with EasySlide or WendyLett, or see the HumanCare Positioning Sling when a lift sling is the right tool. We already sell unbranded one-way glides (11435 to 11439) for the same seated job. Ask us which glide to quote. Those stay on their own listings.
Service, repairs, and warranty
When a mat wears out, you call the shop that sold it. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department.
SystemRoMedic OneWaySlide warranty
The current instructions print an expected lifetime of up to 10 years of normal use. They do not print a separate warranty year count. Inspect the mat after every wash and replace it when the fabric, seams, or handles show wear. We handle the claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
Frequently asked questions
What is the SystemRoMedic OneWaySlide?
It is a one-direction seated glide. It slides backward so a caregiver can move a person back in a chair or wheelchair, and it resists sliding forward so the person can stay sitting on it.
What article sizes can I quote?
Five live Savaria codes: tubular 2069 (50 x 40 cm) and 2070 (50 x 45 cm), and 6-handle 2075 (130 x 40 cm), 2076 (130 x 45 cm), and 2077 (130 x 55 cm). We will match the selector to one of those articles.
What is the safe working load?
150 kg (330 lb) on 2069, 2070, 2075, and 2076. 200 kg (440 lb) on 2077. Stay inside the number printed for the article you receive.
Should I pick the tube or the 6-handle mat?
Pick the 6-handle mat when a caregiver will pull the person up the backrest and you can tie the straps to the wheelchair frame. Pick the tubular model when a more active person will sit on a short tube on the cushion. Call (905) 451-7743 and we will choose with you.
How many caregivers does it take?
One, if the person can lean forward and has good seated balance. Two, if the person is heavy or the chair has a high back. A helper at the front supports balance when the person cannot lean forward.
How is this different from EasySlide or WendyLett?
EasySlide and WendyLett are in-bed slide sheets. OneWaySlide is a chair and wheelchair glide. Keep them on separate cards.
How is this different from the unbranded one-way glides we already sell?
The unbranded one-way glides 11435 to 11439 do the same seated job. They are not Handicare / SystemRoMedic OneWaySlide articles. This is the named 2069-2077 family. We keep both listings.
Can the person stay sitting on it?
Yes. Savaria describes a soft, padded design that lets the person remain seated on the device. Inspect it on the same schedule as any other transfer aid.
How do I wash it?
Follow the product label. The current instructions allow 60-80 C, no fabric softener, and no tumble-drying. Inspect it after every wash.
Does a FootStool come with it?
No. The tubular instructions name a FootStool to raise the knees to hip height. It is a separate product. Ask us if you want it on the quote.
