Construction and how it works

Solace Prevention 1080 is a foam mattress. Invacare prints two layers of foam with a convoluted fortress-cut top that adds surface area, plus softer head and heel sections. Three zones target the head, the torso, and the heels. The cover is 70 denier nylon on top and 11 oz tri-laminate vinyl on the bottom. Invacare prints that the cover is fluid resistant.

Invacare does not print a pressure-injury stage for this model on the Prevention 1080 sell sheet. We will not add one. The Prevention series is the entry foam in the Solace line. Therapy 1080 (STS1080) is a different three-layer article. Raised-side-rail and 84 in versions exist in the US; Invacare notes those custom cuts are not available in Canada.
