Description

The Harmony Hi Low Home Care Mattress Twin XL is Harmony's medical-collection mattress for the Harmony beds: a 7 inch, 325 lb support surface with a firmer transfer edge around the perimeter and Harmony's Recovery 5 incontinence cover, made in Canada. Westin Healthcare sells it on its own or bundled with the bed, and delivers across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.

Where the 10 inch Relax is the lifestyle mattress of the Harmony line, this is the lower, lighter home-care build: the same Twin XL footprint as the bed's deck, in a thinner profile, with the cover home care actually needs.

Who this mattress is for

This mattress is for someone sleeping on a Harmony bed in the Twin XL width whose needs point at the medical line rather than the lifestyle line: a thinner 7 inch profile that keeps the overall bed height low, a transfer edge for the sit-to-stand move, and a Recovery 5 cover built for incontinence care, with the antimicrobial, moisture-wicking fabric that work involves.

It is also the practical pick when the mattress itself has to be handled: at 7 inches it is lighter to lift and turn at linen changes than a 10 inch build.

The 325 lb rating sits under the 350 lb rating of the standard Relax and well under the 600 lb Relax XC. For a heavier sleeper the XC is the right surface; for the full 10 inch lifestyle build it is the Relax. This page is the home-care option: lower, lighter, built around transfers.

Construction and how it works

Harmony builds the Home Care mattress as two layers of latex-free foam, and tunes the build softer than its standard home-care mattress: a plush sleeping surface over the firmer transfer edge that runs around the perimeter.

The transfer edge is the working feature: when the sleeper sits on the side of the bed to move to a chair, a walker, or standing, the firmer perimeter holds them instead of collapsing. On the Harmony Hi-Low, which lowers its deck to 10.5 inches from the floor, the firm edge and the low deck together make the sit-to-stand move steadier.

The Recovery 5 cover does the home-care work. It is an incontinence cover with five-way stretch so it moves with the sleeper, it is antimicrobial, and its airflow wicks moisture away to keep skin cool and dry. A zipper along the bottom opens so the cover comes off for cleaning.

The thinner 7 inch profile also keeps the overall bed height lower when the mattress sits on a low deck, and makes the mattress itself easier to handle at linen changes.

Funding help for a therapeutic mattress in Ontario

Several Ontario funding routes can help with the cost of a therapeutic support surface, and eligibility depends on the person's situation and assessment. Westin Healthcare's staff work with funding programs every week and can point you to the right route for your case. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through before you buy.

Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA

Westin's own team delivers across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area, and this mattress normally travels with the Harmony bed it is paired with: we bring both in, set the bed up, and place the mattress before we leave.

We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see one first. For a scheduled in-home delivery, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased mattresses are delivered on a scheduled date.

Mattresses are oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the mattress is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Which Westin beds this mattress fits

Harmony's 2026 price list names this SKU the Hi Low Home Care Mattress, and it fits every Harmony bed Westin sells in the Twin XL width: the Harmony Hi-Low bed, the Harmony 3 bed, the Harmony Pro bed, and the Harmony Lite bed. On each bed page it appears under CHOOSE MATTRESS on the Twin XL setting. This is the 38 inch adjustable-bed Twin XL, not a 36 inch hospital-deck mattress: the hospital-style Harmony 8199 is a different footprint, so check the deck width before ordering.

Service and warranty

The Harmony Home Care mattress carries a 5 year manufacturer warranty, between the Relax's 10 years and the XC's 2. When something needs attention you call the shop that sold it: Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department, and our technicians come to the home.

Frequently asked questions

Will this mattress fit the Harmony Hi-Low bed?

Yes. It measures 38 inches by 80 inches, which matches the TWIN XL (38" X 80") setting on the bed's width picker. Harmony's own price list names it the Hi Low Home Care Mattress, and it appears under CHOOSE MATTRESS on the Twin XL setting of every Harmony bed Westin sells.

What is the difference between this and the Harmony Relax?

The Relax is the 10 inch lifestyle mattress: three foam layers, a 350 lb rating, and a 10 year warranty. This is the medical line: 7 inches thick, a 325 lb rating, a transfer edge, the Recovery 5 cover, and a 5 year warranty. The Harmony Relax Firm Mattress Twin XL is the lifestyle Twin XL.

What is the Recovery 5 cover?

Harmony's incontinence cover for its medical mattress collection: five-way stretch so it moves with the sleeper, antimicrobial, with airflow that wicks moisture away and keeps skin cool and dry. A zipper along the bottom opens so it comes off for cleaning.

Can the cover be washed?

Yes. The Recovery 5 cover is removable: a zipper along the bottom opens and the cover comes off for cleaning. Harmony publishes the zipper on its own product page; follow the care label on the cover for the wash settings.

Is this mattress made in Canada?

Yes. Harmony's product page for the Home Care mattress states it is proudly made in Canada, and the line carries the same made-in-Canada mark as the Relax.

How much weight does the mattress hold?

Harmony rates the Home Care sleep surface at 325 lbs. The Harmony Hi-Low bed underneath lists an 880 lb lift capacity that includes the mattress and the people on the bed. If the sleeper weighs more than 325 lbs, the 600 lb Relax XC is the Harmony surface for that case.

How thick is the mattress?

7 inches. The standard Relax is 10 inches; the thinner profile keeps the seated bed height lower and the mattress lighter to handle.

What sheets fit?

Standard Twin XL sheets fit the 38 by 80 inch surface, and the 7 inch depth fits any Twin XL sheet depth.

Does it have a transfer edge?

Yes. The perimeter is sewn firmer so the edge holds a seated person during the move to a chair, a walker, or standing. On the Relax line the transfer edge is a separate version; on this mattress it is part of the build.

Can I use it on another bed frame?

It is cut for the 38 inch by 80 inch Harmony Twin XL deck, so it fits any frame with that footprint. On other frames, measure first: it is not a 36 inch hospital-bed mattress.

Does OHIP or ADP cover this mattress?

No. Ontario's Assistive Devices Program does not cover mattresses, and OHIP does not either. March of Dimes, Veterans Affairs Canada, or a community support program may help depending on the situation. Our funding page explains the routes we work with.

Can I buy the mattress on its own?

Yes. This page sells the mattress by itself. If you are buying a Harmony bed as well, add this mattress under CHOOSE MATTRESS on the bed's Twin XL setting so both arrive together and our team sets the bed up with the mattress in place.

What is the warranty?

A 5 year manufacturer warranty. Westin Healthcare handles warranty service through our service and repairs department.
