FootStool is for a person who needs the knees raised so a seated move from bed to wheelchair is easier, or so the feet have a firm place at the toilet or when they are moved farther back in a chair. Raising the knees lifts the thighs a little and lowers friction. The front recess lets a caregiver stand close. The rear recess fits a toilet chair.

What you get
You get one FootStool in the height on your quote. Nothing else ships in the carton. A wipeable FootStoolCover (8091 for 8090, 8096 for 8095) is a separate helper with a zipper and a handle. We will quote a cover only if you want it.
The stool is polyethylene with closed cells. Savaria describes a firm, slip-resistant surface that stays put on the floor. Clean it with warm water or soap. If you need to disinfect, use 70% ethanol, 45% isopropanol, or similar. Avoid hard pressure or impact. That can leave indentations. Inspect it regularly and after any knock.

FootStool is placed under the feet. It is not a lift sling and does not attach to a carry bar. It is not a hard sliding board and not a chair glide.

SystemRoMedic FootStool warranty
The current instructions print an expected lifetime of up to 10 years of normal use. They do not print a separate warranty year count. Inspect the stool regularly and replace it if the material is worn, cracked, or no longer stable. We handle the claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.

A bathroom step stool with a handrail is for stepping up. FootStool is a low polyethylene block that raises the knees for a seated transfer. We already sell a foot stool with a handrail, a Divine foot stool, and a bariatric foot stool. Those stay on their own cards.
Can I use it at the toilet?
Yes. The instructions place it under the feet when the person is sitting on the toilet or in a wheelchair. The shallower rear recess is there for a toilet chair.
