Funding help for a walker or rollator in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a walker or rollator when the need is long-term and the aid is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every model qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up walking aids across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring the aid in, set the handle height, and show you the brakes and the fold before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a walker or rollator first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743. This equipment is larger than small parcel goods. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery is described on the shipping policy.
Service and warranty
When something needs work, call the shop that set it up. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department.
Frequently asked questions
Walker vs Rollator: Which Is Better?
A walker is a frame you lift or slide. A rollator rolls on three or four wheels, has hand brakes, and usually has a seat. The Xpresso is a 4-wheel rollator.
How Do I Choose a Rollator Height?
Measure wrist height, then pick Mini, Regular, or Tall. We set the handles at delivery.
Does ADP Cover Rollators?
Some Ontario routes can help with wheeled walkers when the need is long-term. Call (905) 451-7743 or use the funding page before you buy.
Is This the Lite or the Zero?
This page is the Evolution Xpresso Series. The Lite is lighter with EVA tires. The Zero is the Roman-arch frame. The Wide is the heavy-duty build.
What Colours Are Stocked?
Black, Red, and Blue on Mini, Regular, and Tall. The Tacoma colourway is a separate listing.
Will It Fit in a Car?
The Xpresso uses a centre fold. We walk through the fold at delivery.
What Is the Weight Capacity?
Stay at or under the rating printed for the size you pick. Tall is the higher rating on this family.
Can I Use It Outdoors?
8 in polyurethane tires are for pavement and similar ground, not trails.
