Description

What is the Drive RTL10310 quad cane?

The RTL10310 is Drive's black small-base quad cane with a foam grip. Four tips and an offset handle give a wider stance than a single-tip cane. A one-button height lock, with a locking bolt, sets the handle from 30 to 39 inches. Drive's spec sheet rates it to 300 lb and prints a limited lifetime warranty. No assembly is required.

Who is a small-base quad cane for?

It is for someone who wants the cane to stand on its own between steps, and who walks in places where a large base would catch on furniture. A small base fits closer to the body. If you need a cane only for light balance and you always keep a hand on it, a single-tip cane is simpler. If your balance is poor on both sides, look at a walker on the walking aids page.

How do you set the height?

Press the one-button lock and slide the handle until the grip suits your wrist, then let the lock click and confirm the bolt is seated. Drive says the cane needs no assembly. The foam grip on this model is RTL10310. Drive's sheet also lists a vinyl-grip item under a different number. This page is the black foam-grip cane only.

How does it compare with other canes?

A quad cane stands when you release it. A single-tip cane does not. This small base is narrower than a large-base quad, so it is easier in tight rooms and less stable on very uneven ground. Other canes are on the canes page.

Care and warranty

Wipe the frame and check that all four tips sit flat. Replace tips that are worn smooth. Drive's spec sheet prints a limited lifetime warranty. Drive has not published a separate owner's manual for RTL10310 on the product page, so this listing attaches the spec sheet only.

How tall does it adjust?

Drive lists handle height from 30 to 39 inches.

How much weight can it hold?

Drive rates the RTL10310 to 300 lb.

Does it come assembled?

Yes. Drive's sheet says no assembly is required.

Is this the vinyl-grip cane?

No. RTL10310 is the black foam-grip model. The vinyl-grip item is a different number on Drive's sheet.

Do you deliver it in Brampton?
